I have been following this site for a few years now as well as the activity of earthquakes from the usgs site and have noticed that there is a strong correlation between Sun activity and earthquake activity. I am not an expert by any means in any field, but I have heard increasing conjecture that these two phenomena are deeply connected along with the earth's core. I know there have been reports of strange lights in the sky before large quakes and am wondering do others notice this relationship as well? If so can you educate me on the specifics of how you believe it works. ;D

I am following this site for a while and you are doing a great job! I am not sure about this ATS article, not sure if its reliable. This guy SolarWatch on YouTube seem to be very accurate about the connection of solar activity & Earthquakes ; www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgh9cXZ-IJIIts seems that lately almost every major quakes happened as a result of solar activity and many reliable source maintain that connection.

Gravity is the constant the largest Singularity to Earth is the Sun The Closet Singularity is the Moon but has Only Minimal impact on Earth as in Tides But it is also a Gravity Constant. But Minimal in its effects However there are balances here involved. Gravity is both static and dynamic as its force does not move but remains the constant it doesnt need to have speed or mass it exists because it always has.
Ok Now Solar impacts on Earth as in Solar Magnetic storms on the suns surface fold space time Gravity folds space time and also has effects both appearant and subtle.
Yet we must consider Another Source ...
80% of Stars Have Companian Stars Does Our Star Have one Too?
I won't go there but Siesmic activity indicates otherwise.

Solar Activity was much higher in the last Solarcycle peak than what it is right now. And SC23's peak was a notch above average. Why didn't the earthquake happen then ? Solaractivity at the peaks of SC 19, SC21 and SC 22 was off the chart compared to what has happened in the last two weeks yet no cataclysmic earthquakes.
The Mainboard is set aside for scientific discussion of the sun with emphasis on Heliophysics. If you want to discuss the Paranormal Stuff then be my guest. But do it in the Open Forum.

I do not personally believe that Solar Activity is linked with earthquakes.. just like Bob said, Solar Activity in Cycle 24 thus far has been very minor in comparison.
I do however find the debate to be very interesting, I am all for this discussion... but yes... in this Open Forum.. not in the Main Solar Forum.

Have you determined whether or not A. The CME's or Flares were earthbound and B. If they had reached Earth by the time the eruption happened? Have you considered a mechanism by which this could happen?
