Myopic - Matt please take a look in the mirror Nice view! But seriously, I don't pretend to make forecasts nor be better than the experts at determining what causes the climate/weather to change, so your comment is wrong at best.

easy question. Piers and Astrofaker take guesses and wrap them in astrology then call the result "science" when neither has a bit to do with science. The hockey stick is a valid attempt to scientifically explain climate. Astrofaker couldn't give a plausible explanation for anything if his life depended on it. Look at the Japanese earthquake. It happened with AVERAGE tidal forces. Nothing astrometrically relevant to the situation at all. He even read the news about a Japanese nuclear plant having trouble and "forecast" after the fact about meltdowns. As if meltdowns could possibly have anything related to the moon, the sun, the stars, and the planets. We're talking about a total FAKE vs science. Enough said. Matt, you've shown enough stupidity for all to see on this pro board, which is why no one takes you seriously. Rather than being a troll, why don't you get a life?

twawki hope they are wrong. But the plates are linked. No one seems to mention the solar minimum and some have CO2 on the tips of their tongues. "Japanese volcano erupts Mar 13, 2011 3:01 PM | By Sapa-AFP A volcano in southwestern Japan erupted Sunday after nearly two weeks of relative silence, sending ash and rocks up to four kilometres (two and a half miles) into the air, a local official says. Hey Trib yeah hope they are wrong also but with so many issues coinciding it seems that the likelihood only increases. Did you know 2 russian volcanoes erupted at the same time as japans 9.0

6.2 earthquake today under Mt. Fuji. First one in a couple hundred years. From www.volcanolive.com/news.html Wednesday 16th March 2011 Mt Fuji Volcano, Japan A large earthquake (mag 6.2) occurred under Mt Fuji Volcano, Japan on 15th March at 10:31 pm, local time. The epicentre was located 7 km SSW of the summit. The focus was shallow at 10 km. Mt Fuji last erupted in 1708 and is still considerd an active volcano. A 2004 Japanese government simulation determined that in the worst-case scenario, a major eruption of Fuji would cause 2.5 trillion (yen) in economic damage.

If fuji goes that will make a really bad situation worse. Radiation levels at reactor are now so high they have had to withdraw all the workers from the reactor www.twawki.com/?p=1141919th March is the perigee if we get earth directed flares from sun watch out

The battle of the graphs explains why AGW says that the sunspot activity does not match the temps. They made the hockey stick graph to disassociate sunspots with temps.
Maui, I remember your prediction. I think that there is merit in it. Also, as I was reading you brought up the subject of heat from underwater activity. That was just one. So over the whole ocean how many vents, magma flows, volcanoes ect are there?? And if they become more active a great deal more heat is added. In the mid Atlantic the sea floor is speading, how much heat is being given off by that?

I fervently hope I am wrong, but the earthquake "sticky dot" map of Christchurch in NZ looks very much like a volcano in formation. Just recently, the energy release graph has suddenly started trending up. www.christchurchquakemap.co.nz/dailyEnergyThe town is right next door to a large allegedly extent volcano, and some of the earthquakes are very shallow.
