Those volcanoes are part of the mid-atlantic ridge right? If it is, is there a way to follow other volcanoes that are under the water. I looked on the USGS website and see no earthquakes associated with the mid-atlantic ridge. Do you know of one?

USGS doesn't report earthquakes <3 outside the United Sates I believe.
That's earthquakes less than 3 on the Richter scale for you incurable romantics who thought it was a loveheart.

Google Earth will show some, but you'll need to zoom in pretty tight to see the icons for underwater quakes. Don't know how complete their data is tho. There are a dozen or so that I found without much trouble.

I think Katla has historically erupted a few months to years after the one wihtthe unpronounceable name erupts. Katla's big eruptions tend to follow Eyjafjallajokull erupting they seem to be linked underground. When Katla has small eruptions Eyjafjallajokull does not erupt. So at the moment it is a waiting game, if it does go off I'm buying as much coal, canned soup, flour, yeast and vitamin pills that I can get my hands on as life could get very nasty here in the UK

BYZ, James Wesley Rawles has a great deal that could possibly be of use if Katla blows. And I find this blogger to be accurate, although his national catastrophe is the continuing result of political events that are now 70 years in the past: ferfal.blogspot.com/While much of both men's advice cannot apply, the rest may be a lifesaver. You should also include something such as canned fish and/or meat. Freeze dried veg and (in case the water is 'off') water purification tabs.
All standard 'hurricane' supplies although for that we would add, battery radio, flashlights, generator and fuel. Looking at the NHC site - I may have some of these to spare......
