Good thing that we have CO2 under control.

Also, what is interesting, is if we looked at temp extremes of the 30's and 40's, the same could be said using a baseline from the 1890-2020 time period. pubs.giss.nasa.gov/abs/ha00610m.html

If only we could get Jim Hansen under control. He is the real danger from climate change.

I wonder if he is being paid by NASA for his time and his travel expenses? Perhaps someone should initiate an FOI request

Good idea Nautonnier,
Except NASA is so in the tank for AGW. After all it is the politburrr....I mean the feds, that will get the carbon tax. Am I wrong??

Good idea Nautonnier, Except NASA is so in the tank for AGW. After all it is the politburrr....I mean the feds, that will get the carbon tax. Am I wrong?? This case NASA pays to Spanish Defense-Administration, but then Government cuts Chrstmas extra-pay and gets this money away from workers -gets benefit for the overall deal- and this is just for further feeding our systemic finantial system while families get less and less money to spend.. (This extra pay article refers is not a bonus, it could be paid on monthly shares as well; it´s part of contractual salary on annual basis) EL PAIS (link below, Google Translator pasted herewith) Workers at NASA station in Robledo, on strike for the extra ccaa.elpais.com/ccaa/2013/02/13/madrid/1360752443_757802.htmlThe 110 workers at NASA Spanish station, located in the Madrid town of Robledo de Chavela (3,319 inhabitants), were planted today in demand for their Christmas bonus that, in his opinion, the Spanish government will not unduly paid . Employees who work for NASA by a company under the Ministry of Defense, argue that there is no reason to remove it because their salaries are paid by the U.S. space agency, which covers all expenses of the station. In demand for his pay, made a strike today and a concentration of two hours, which started at ten in the morning. "It is a nonsense. Budgets do not depend on," says John Wolf, spokesman for the Independent Trade Union of Civil Servants and chairman of the installation company. According to the contract signed at the time, "all expenses, from the bins to the last screw, resulting from the construction, installation, equipment and use of the station are paid by the U.S. government." Wolf stresses that the facility "not only does not cost money, but the state charges management fees, which are about 8%." For these reasons, we do not consider that they can implement the withdrawal of the Christmas bonus, determined by the Spanish government last summer for all staff. In addition to the arrests and concentration, have sent a letter to the Ministry of Finance to request a report that reflects the peculiar character of the season, but for now, says Wolf, have not received a reply. The Defense Ministry, which oversees the installation following the merger of Aerospace Engineering and Services (INSA) in Systems Engineering for Defence of Spain, has decreed minimum services, 50% of shifts. The station has been operating since the sixties of the last century under an agreement between the Spanish government and the U.S. by NASA and the National Institute of Aerospace. The station Robledo de Chavela, the only NASA facility in Europe, is part of the Deep Space Network of the agency, which communicates with all its interplanetary exploration missions. For this you need antennas in Canberra (Australia), Madrid and Goldstone (California).

Being Climate Science is settled, there should be no reason to continue to fund research.

It is obvious that most socialist are "math challenged".
I will admit to confirmation bias. AS I read the literature, the torture of stats continues to amaze me. And I am getting really old and rusty in advanced stats.

[/img] Scenario C assumes CO2 emmissions are brought under control by 2000.
This graph does not truly show how backwards Hansen is about AGW. Scenario's B and C need to be removed from the graph, as scenarios A, B, and C were based upon projected man-made CO2 emissions. Since scenario A is what actually happened, scenarios B, and C are no longer viable and are not valid. The fact that both of those scenarios are closer to reality than what Hansen predicted, really put an exclamation point on how absolutely wrong his approach to CO2 being a primary climate driver are... Is James Hansen a scientist? When your theory fails because your tests do not validate, a scientist would declare the theory dead and move on. Or a Zealot? Does what Zealots do, except Jimmy boy is a little old to fight anyone, so he sticks to protesting in safe locations... Or Perhaps he is a Con Man, charlatan, cheat, con artist, fraudster , confidence man, conniver, deceiver, swindler... One of these? So Which is it? Does he believe himself? I always wondered...
