LOL a prius with a trailer? don't travel on dirt roads much do you. Have you EVER been in the country? And Alaska gets a bit of snow you realize. LOL prius with a trailer. ROFLMAO! I lived in Fairbanks for four years. Anybody with any knowledge knows that there is very little snow in Alaska during the winter. It's too cold for snow. Oh boy....now this is a good one.............. So, you are saying that it doesn't snow nor storm in the Arctic Circle?.......really???????

Yes but you are advocating limiting what I have available to purchase. Again, who decides? heavens no. You are already limited to what you have available to purchase! I'm advocating removing the conservative denialist filter that limits your decisions to between bad and worse choices. You really are a moron Richard. Sorry, sometimes things must be said.

I'm advocating removing the conservative denialist filter that limits your decisions to between bad and worse choices. you are demonstrating that you don't really know what is going on. You are still focused on the puppets. You need to start looking at the puppet masters pulling the strings. They keep this false dichotomy between "conservative" and "liberal" going so that people will focus on that rather than what is really going on. And as I said in an earlier post, you don't' really know what a liberal is obviously. I'll give you a hint, you are not one.

Richard: I hve to get back to work, but I want to extend a handshake and thank you for a wonderful late morning laugh. In fact, I am still laughing at you comment about snow and cold and Alaska. I am sure the fine folks of Alaska will be glad to know that there should be very little snow in their future.
Sounds like something Britian would proclaim when they don't stock sand and sell the snow plows.
Which leads me to this question......are you British as a nationality?

Fred: I didn't mean to say that British folks were thick, but that they seem keen to get on this AGW bandwagon, and then suffer when it turns out it is wrong. Makes me kinda sad really that a great people have become lemmings from all outward appearances. Richard is Richard.....but that one was just too good to pass up.

And the 1st time I see a Prius pulling a trailer with 10,000 lbs on the back I am calling the local authorities. That would be a wreck waiting to happen.

No offence taken. Like you I couldn't believe what he said. We are getting more and more bogged down in global warming dogma. The BBC has now decided to eliminate all skeptic discussion from their agenda. Money is being poured into green projects like wind farms.
I see no logic used in any of the arguments.

When you look at winter storms, which there are, it snows and the wind blows. Alert is colder as a rule than Fairbanks, and the Canadian Weather Service .......no big deal. But it can snow when it is very cold as well.

That's why Antarctica is a desert. You really don't know what you are talking about.

Say it ain't so Joe. Not to worry I am in charge here (fill in the name). "Corruption in the carbon trading market" "Just six weeks ago, the World Bank reported that the international market in carbon credits has suffered a debilitating collapse and expressed doubt about the ongoing viability of global markets. According to the World Bank, trading in credits commenced after the Kyoto Protocol was adopted in 2005, and about $25 billion was generated over the years to 2009………. He detailed the first arrival in 2009 of “carbon cowboys” offering villagers “sky money” for the right to use their land in international carbon trading schemes. This led to alleged corruption of local officials who also stood to gain from these get-rich quick schemes." wattsupwiththat.com/2011/07/23/corruption-in-the-carbon-trading-market/#more-43970

Money for climate AGW politics but not sure if the Social Security checks should go out. Of course Social Security has been taken from my paychecks for 52 years. Now the government has lost the money gambling on the great green monster. Well not to worry in China the aged get nothing! Not to worry the sewers run in the streets there too, soon enough the U.S. will follow. "We Get What We Pay For With Disastrous Climate Science" "A rapidly growing number of Americans are coming to distrust “scientific” climate report conclusions that emanate from authoritarian government and institutional sources — often with good reason. Such skepticism has arisen in part from revelations of conspiracies among influential researchers to exaggerate the existence and threats of man-made climate change, withhold background data and suppress contrary findings evidenced in the “ClimateGate” scandal." "Who pays for all this bad science, and worse, news? We do, of course. And it doesn’t come cheap. According to data compiled by Joanne Nova at the Science and Public Policy Institute, the U.S. Government spent more than $32.5 billion on climate studies between 1989 and 2009. This doesn’t count about $79 billion more spent for related climate change technology research, foreign aid and tax breaks for “green energy.”" sppiblog.org/news/we-get-what-we-pay-for-with-disastrous-climate-science#more-5683

You need to review the source of your AGW talking points; it may have been updated ;D www.eee.columbia.edu/research-projects/water_resources/climate-change-snow-cover/index.htmlwww.agu.org/pubs/crossref/2005/2005GL023394.shtmlSo let's get it straight. Does AGW cause more snow, less snow, colder winters, warmer winters, more snow pack, less snow pack or all of the above? U.S. winters (Dec Jan Feb) Tell us Richard, why do so many scientists espousing AGW lie so much?
