But the media has tried to make the presumption that their side is sane and moderate, and anyone who thinks that this is abnormal (and unattractive, sickening, etc.) is a loon. Thought police, trying to influence us again.

Had an interesting exchange with a young gal who calls herself a nerd. She wants to think that CO2 radiation is providing warmth to the oceans. If anything, it is cooling the oceans because of evaporation. But she insisted that CO2 radiation is the cause of increased OHC. I asked her to explain the mechanism, she has since become quiet. How does some of this tom foolery stand?

"If I wanted America to fail".
Could someone please explain to an ignorant Aussie what this actually means?

"If I wanted America to fail". Could someone please explain to an ignorant Aussie what this actually means? The USA is on a cusp right now. The National Debt continues to soar, and no politicians have enough spine to address it except for John Kasich. More regulations etc will only hasten the demise of the USA. Some are cheering this on, most of us aren't.

I agree with Andrew. Water thru evaporation increases temperature as it changes to a gas. Point Andrew. Precisely! And takes that heat from the source that it was in contact with. Hence, evaporative cooling.

The warmest molecules jump away, leaving the cooler molecules.

Hence, evaporative cooling. OK for the purposes of lack of argument and a less stressful life 1. All objects are cooling 2. The planets do not cause the Sun to move 3. You can warm things up by freezing water 4. You can cool water by heating it
