www.city-journal.org/seattle-homelessnessSeattle is under siege. Over the past five years, the Emerald City has seen an explosion of homelessness, crime, and addiction. In its 2017 point-in-time count of the homeless, King County social-services agency All Home found 11,643 people sleeping in tents, cars, and emergency shelters. Property crime has risen to a rate two and a half times higher than Los Angeles’s and four times higher than New York City’s. Cleanup crews pick up tens of thousands of dirty needles from city streets and parks every year.

There are many statements here that leave little doubt as to his political persuasion. We are watching an economic version of the Cuban missile crisis even as the Dems do all they can to disrupt Trump's efforts. It is highly probable that this is completely intentional - from both the democrat and the never-Trump groups. Remember Mitch McConnel's money comes from his Chinese wife and her Chinese shipping industry connections.

Those people can vote. You betcha they can. It would be good to give the same question to people _not_ in the coastal urban areas - somewhere like Iowa, Nebraska, Dakota's - say outside a farmers' market.

You wouldn't like the accuracy we would do. Offftttaaa. I kept thinking, go for Australia! That is a Country AND a Continent. Oh well, gosh............just................gosh.

The same exercise, performed near me in Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach or Mermaid Waters, would likely embarrass many Aussies. Our Iowas, Nebraskas and Dakotas are all desert .... not many passers-by. Here it comes folks ... the beginning salvo. California and New York are not happy that they can't force their opinions and lifestyle on the rest of us by force of numbers. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., introduced a pair of constitutional amendments that would eliminate the Electoral College ... Trump secured the 2016 election by winning the Electoral College with 304 votes to Democrat Hillary Clinton’s 232. But Clinton beat Trump by nearly 3 million in the popular vote. Especially since then, many Democrats have vociferously opposed the system.
