look to observe a continued cooling trend. I suppose you are talking about a supposed future cooling trend for which there is no evidence in sight, where currently we are in an observed warming trend for about 136 years. If I was using climate science trends to sell grain, I would still think grain is in an up trend. After all, the trend has been up for 100's of years. And also, IF I did that, I would be flat broke. We are at an apex in temperatures, have been for decades. In my opinion, that apex will become the head of a head and shoulders formation.

Either way, reality has a way of making a person bankrupt long before they end up turning out to be right in the end. I am living in what must be one of the coldest countries on Earth and there aint no way it is colder here or even stable. A few summers ago we had two summers of record temps. I had to be here to believe it was possible it could get that hot at 61N. The lowest Baltic sea ice extents since 1720 were in 2008 and last year. Where actually is it getting colder to such a strong degree as it is getting warmer here??

Temperature has a way of shifting Andrew. Where I live, if the trend were to continue, we would be 10.2C colder in 100 years.
According to the GCM's, it was suppose to be warmer here, but it isn't.
I have no doubt that it is warmer where you are now living.

There hasn't been a warming trend in my area for the last 136 years. The trend has been flat. Times have been warmer, in fact much warmer, and times have been much colder. The long term trend is zero at this time.

AS far as physics, I am always willing to talk about physics.

AS far as physics, I am always willing to talk about physics. Seems you never have enough time to reveal what creates your ideas while having seemingly an endless amount of time to talk about something totally different. Typically I saw you once again 'reminding us' that the atmosphere does not have a roof just yesterday in a thread I created. You could have asked Icefisher why he changes the subject by deliberately creating junk statements but evidently it does not suit your purposes to be helpful to me. I think it very highly possible that icefisher is just one of your socks

Nope Andrew. Icefisher is icefisher.
As far as discussion of physics, I never figured out what either of you were trying to prove or disprove.
At times you both would talk about a closed system and then switch to an.open system. Apples to oranges comparison.
I am still lost, relative to your discussion and don't really care to be found.

A European child could understand it but I have learnt painfully that cannot be said for Americas ones. You went out of your way to derail all my attempts to converse with you by continually talking garbage about garden greenhouses even after I several times asked you to please stop doing that. Why would you so deliberately make it so hard to have a normal conversation? What is more you did the same thing with Latent heat.

I have no beef with you, but if you enter a thread and begin talking garbage I will have, and from what I can see so far that seems highly unlikely behaviour.

Andrew, Sig would have to be one of the most respectful people to enter these pages, please assigning negative attributes to people of different origin is offensive.
I have spent many years in both the US and Europe and both places are blessed with the smart and the stupid.
you may have noticed that your entry into this site has resulted in a collapse of interest from others. interact with respect or go.
should we have a vote to determine if you are welcome?

I gave up trying to explain that earth's atmosphere is not a greenhouse. Disagreement is not a bad thing. In fact it is desired. It is the decorum that you present said disagreement in. This thread relates to fossil fuels. Let's keep it that way. Thanks

I gave up trying to explain latent heat to you. Bullshit. You just kept repeating farmers would not be using water if it did not work. I repeatedly asked you to explain what you were saying and you endlessly refused to do so. Then, after years of you f**king around with me, you have the cheek to claim you are the polite and reasonable one.
