While Michael Mann steadfastly refuses to take the stage and debate the issue point by point his only recourse is to suggest unfair play. Fortunately the majority of the masses see easily through such ignorance.

"The simulations with the multi-crop models showed that warming is already slowing yield gains, despite observed yield increases in the past, at a majority of wheat-growing locations across the globe." The models show slowing yield gains yet observations reveal increase?

Maybe we should use wheat production as a proxy for world temperature.
Clearly its falling!

"The simulations with the multi-crop models showed that warming is already slowing yield gains, despite observed yield increases in the past, at a majority of wheat-growing locations across the globe." The models show slowing yield gains yet observations reveal increase? Yes, observations and actual production show dramatic yield increases. The models show we should be observing decreases. Guess we could dump all the extra wheat in a hole someplace so that the yields agree with the models and everyone can be happy.

Maybe we should use wheat production as a proxy for world temperature. Clearly its falling! Now that is a novel idea and surely would confirm the model of decreased yields because of higher temps! That makes 2014 a VERY cool year, as 2014 observed the highest level of wheat production ever recorded. I clearly am not thinking out of the box enough! You are on to something here nonentropic!

I find it extremely interesting that the places in the US where we are having severe cold and snow are the same areas that were covered by ice sheets at one time. Can't be a coincidence.
