It is pretty hard to be an acid with a PH over 7.5
"In chemistry, pH (/pi? e?t?/ or /pi? he?t?/) is a measure of the acidity or basicity of an aqueous solution. Solutions with a pH less than 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a pH greater than 7 are basic or alkaline. Pure water has a pH very close to 7."

I keep telling people that the oceans are not turning acid but that they have neutralized slightly. Most don't get it. They argue with me. The oceans are base, they will always be base.
