[ Nonsense snipped ] Jack is no longer allowed to own a hammer as it is considered an assault weapon. Come with the musket and dispensation will be granted. Pre or posthumously?

[ Snip ] The F-35 is what happens when your sales and contracts department are better than your engineers. For today's best comment, you win the jackpot prize: Five pounds of wet cement. Yesterday, it was three pounds of wet cement. PS: Please bring a jackhammer when you come to collect. I know which aircraft I would prefer in a turning battle, or in fighter ground attack, Indeed in anything but long range interception. Problem is you often need to get close enough for a 'viz ident' and once you're that close the F-16 is the better aircraft. You can buy a flight of F-16s for the price of one F-35 too. nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/how-f-22-and-f-35-are-making-old-us-fighter-jet-real-killer-42457

Bonsai versus Banzai. One is a stunted plant grown for decoration.

Snowflakes don't read either. They seem destined to rule the Earth ... briefly.

Must be prepping for the ever possible Turk invasion. Went to graduate school with a Greek Cypriot. If ya wanted to see fireworks, just mention the word Turk. I really must ask Nancy how the mansion thing works here. Marta is a fluent Spanish speaker. Acid. Tell Prince Phillip he has competition.

Just a couple of points - notice how even in humor immigrant and illegal migrant are conflated. - I was 'fortunate' in a previous task to have to work in the 'green zone' (the demilitarized UN troops only border zone) in Cyprus and spent a little time at Nicosia Airport which had been shut since the rather violent partition of Cyprus. There are still aircraft at the gates there that were there during the Turkish invasion. You can also see the Kyrenia 'mountains' from there on which the Turks have carved a Turkish flag - just to improve the humor of the Greek Cypriots For interest at the Famagusta end of the Green Zone, in the zone, there was an abandoned Jaguar car dealership that had just received a delivery of new cars all crated up (as they were then). Apparently it included E-Types and XJ6. There were rumors of huge amounts of (bribe) money being offered to 'release' the cars
