There is a Goldon Eagle Just to the north of me. A raccoon had met its demise and was on the shoulder of the road. The eagle must have dragged it lower as I didn't see it. Out of the ditch the Eagle flew. Thankfully, I was driving the car. I had the brakes chirping and the Eagle barely cleared the windshield. It is a young one as the wingspan was only slightly wider than the windshield. Hopeing to get a picture if it sticks around.

A few years ago my wife and I had a bald eagle fly up out of a creek from a deer carcass right in front of my truck windshield about even with the front of the hood. No camera but I’ve got the video in my head,

Lol. Takes a couple of those Aussie birds to weigh up to Bald Eagle stars.
With that said, the kangaroo population appears safe.

Bald eagles certainly are not the largest of eagles. Golden eagles are bigger. But they are NOT glorified sea gulls.

I've been right under bald eagles as they land. Pretty impressive and intimidating. But maybe other eagles are more intimidating still

Rodents should not piss them off either: “Eagles, like all birds, have color vision. An eagle's eye is almost as large as a human's, but its sharpness is at least four times that of a person with perfect vision. The eagle can probably identify a rabbit moving almost a mile away. That means that an eagle flying at an altitude of 1000 feet over open country could spot prey over an area of almost 3 square miles from a fixed position.”
