Temps have generally been following enso since i started following such things in 2014. Enso really seems to be gearing towards negative values not seen since earlier this decade, its really due a cool spell.

Until someone can successfully explain the mechanics of the Great Climate Shift of 1976 (in the Pacific and beyond) and what may set off the next one, then we are just "spitting into the wind" ... and susceptible to fairy tales, fables and con-men.
The Genesis strategy that Schneider proposes is to stockpile grain in good harvest years against the inevitable bad years. The United States must do this, he argues, because 90 percent of the global grain supply consumed outside of its continent of origin comes from North America. By a fluke of climate the United States, not Egypt, has become the world's granary.
The Bible and other historical records suggest that "Pharoah" had the same strategy. Today we have a 1-plus year buffer? But prices will not wait for empty silos. And desert Bedo and their urban cousins don't fancy starving.

I am trying to help avert disaster. All my bins are full. I keep telling my wife, no pain no gain. She isn't enjoying our austere budget.

Reread as "being honest is not effective". The "proper" balance is therefore weighted toward the next grant (read paycheck). Morality is so ephemeral.

" Aug 2019 Forbes censored an interview with me By shaviv
cosmic rays, global warming, personal research, politics, weather & climate A few days ago I was interviewed by Doron Levin, for an article to appear online on forbes.com. After having seen a draft (to make sure that I am quoted correctly), I told him good luck with getting it published, as I doubted it will. Why? Because a year ago I was interviewed by a reporter working for Bloomberg, while the cities of San Francisco and Oakland were deliberating a climate change lawsuit against Exxon-Mobil (which the latter won!), only to find out that their editorial board decided that it is inappropriate to publish an interview with a heretic like me. Doronâs reply was to assure me that Forbesâ current model of the publication online allows relative freedom with ârelatively little interference from editorsâ. Yeah Sure. After the article went online yesterday and Doron e-mailed so, I saw how much relative exposure it received. It had already more than 40000 impressions in a matter of a couple of hours. Impressive. All that took place while I was relaxing with my family on a Tel-Aviv beach. But this didnât last long. Although I continued to relax at the beach, the article was taken down for âfailing to meet our editorial standardsâ, which apparently means conforming to whatever is considered politically correct about climate change."www.sciencebits.com/forbes-censored-interview-me

The Settled Science May Be In Trouble This is new and builds on topics they have worked before. Well worth a view. .
