Wonder what homeowners insurance says about volcanoes. Good question. In the Seattle area we not only have Mt. Saint Helens but also Rainer and Baker to the North. I have earthquake insurance but I don't believe my policy comes with coverage for volcanoes or that I can get it. pnsn.org/volcanoesFortunately for me I'm not likely to need volcano insurance here ... but I carry earthquake insurance just in case New Madrid goes big time again ... and seismic wave refraction around that big plug of igneous basement rock (between me and it direct line) smacks me in one or two sides. The last big one did ring church bells in Ohio they say.
