Apparently the eruptions at Raikoke and Ulawun sent enough ash and gas into the Stratosphere to effect our sunsets. Turning them purple. Sounds familiar to the sunsets in 1816 after the Tambora eruption which became known as The Year Without A Summer.

If 'yes' then my earlier advice still applies: Run!

I think that this masterly understatement may qualify for a Ratty R U N !!!! "Jamie Farrell at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City says that the seismic events are just a part of the normal behavior that a natural cycle of the Yellowstone volcano exhibits. He does not believe that the swarm of earthquakes means that magma is ready to exit the volcano.
If the Yellowstone volcano erupts, it will put many people’s lives in danger. Estimations claim that around 87.000 would die immediately, and the majority of the United States would be made uninhabitable. Ash would be sent out into the atmosphere, blocking sunlight and creating a “nuclear winter.”
Undoubtedly, if an eruption takes place, many changes would affect and drastically change life as we know it."Oh that's alright then......

The sunsets during "The Year Without A Summer" were well documented. It seems there have been some beautiful rare multi-colored sunsets around the globe attributed to two or possible three volcanic eruptions that spewed ash and gas into the stratosphere.
If they are causing spectacular sunsets they are probably influencing our climate as well.
