A very interesting piece from 'The Pointman' Blog. ZUGZWANG. With the important point: "When you think about it, Trump was apparently bugged from the moment he entered the presidential race. At the time, he was universally considered a no hoper, so why bother to surveil only him? There is obvious answer to that question. I’ll bet a pound against a penny, all the other candidates were being bugged as well."thepointman.wordpress.com/2017/04/06/zugzwang/It is well worth a read I read it. It was worth a read.

An interesting article even if those on the West of 'the pond' may not know the characters being discussed. The denouement final paragraph applies to everyone who values The First Amendment. www.breitbart.com.linkis.com/6TLsV

It surprises me that reporters are so keen to get their questions heard. Maybe there is a rudeness scale aligned with salary calculations. Afterwards, they write whatever suits their agenda. [/generalizations off] Lavrov should run a manners class for some Aussie journalists shouters. PS: Please don't get the idea that I'm not fond of journalists (having had first hand experience).

I negotiated $60+ million potato contracts for 17 years. My last interview, the reporter Mrs. Hand wrote a synopsis of the interview that wasn't even close to our discussion. She is still mad at me as I got her fired. She now works for Senator Heitkamp. Go figure eh?

It was TV reporting and so far removed from the reality I vowed never to talk to a journalist again. Another resolution is to never, ever go to court despite the merit of your case. Fingers crossed: I hope I'm at an age that will not require another encounter with lawyers or journalists. BTW, I guessed Heitkamp would be Democrat, looked it up to be sure.

Missouri hunters bagged 43,339 wild turkeys this season.Five Progressives were mistakenly included in the count. Missouri offers some of the best turkey hunting in the nation. MDC restoration efforts in past decades have taken this popular game bird from almost being wiped out in the state by the 1950s to an estimated sustainable population of more than 300,000 birds today. Missouri turkey hunters spend more than $125 million each year on related travel, food, lodging, and hunting equipment, which helps local businesses and the economy.

The EPA has set aside $12Million and an extra $24Million in carry-over funds.... "The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will set aside $12 million for buyouts and early retirement to slash the agency’s workforce under the Trump administration. David Bloom, the EPA’s chief financial officer, detailed in a memo how the agency plans to spend $24 million in “carry-over funds” or money not spent over the past fiscal year onto the current fiscal year.
Bloom wrote, “Senior leadership made decisions to allocate the carry-over funds set aside earlier this year to address agency’s priorities for incentive payments for workforce reshaping, support for the Office of Enforcement and Compliance (OGC), travel for the Administrator’s protective detail, rent, continued space reduction efforts, eDiscovery, agency cloud services and the OGC’s workforce support.” EPA spokeswoman Liz Bowman said, “Streamlining and reorganizing is good government and important to maximizing taxpayer dollars. This includes looking at developing opportunities for individuals to retire early. "www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/19/epa-sets-aside-12-million-for-buyouts-and-early-retirement-to-cut-down-agency-workforce/It seems that this is an extremely wordy way of repeating the President's previous catch phrase.

Not the kind in a bottle.
