I think that was made by a great uncle .... he had big feet. Big Foot was your great uncle Ratty? Your biographer will be pleased no doubt.

Aussie Humor Retains Its Sharp Edge - With Perhaps a Slight List Luke Cummings @lukecummings81 Queensland. Beautiful one day, perfect the next! #HamiltonIsland #CycloneDebbie 7:10 PM - 27 Mar 2017 Others on Hamilton Island were less sanguine. www.couriermail.com.au/news/queensland/queensland-cyclone-hamilton-island-smashed-by-cyclone-debbie/news-story/f7a240ca3caac1152e05b9d8a75b65c6David, a caller to Nine’s Today who is staying on the resort island, said the scenes outside were “like world war three” as he witnessed a fall through the roof of a nearby villa. “I am standing, actually, on the toilet looking out the tiny little window and villa number 42 has copped it, a massive tree has gone through the side of the roof,” he said. “The winds are insane. I can’t imagine it getting any worse than this. All the trees are destroyed. It looks like world war three to be honest outside.”

It has been grim and it's quite astounding that there hasn't been greater loss of life; the long lead time of warnings possibly helped in that regard. It's all round us to the North and South but our local area's worst event was the washing away of a causeway which will be inconvenient for a few months; otherwise, there are a few trees down here and there and life seems perfectly normal. Anyone who is able to donate time, goods, or cash can find the details here: Queensland Government: How can I help?

Goodman is talking thru her hat but she's in a large club. .Maybe she should read Jim Steele's latest Barrier Reef article? The only climate refugee in this region - since the dams filled - is Professor Tim Flannery. Does the word " claptrap" resonate in the US and the UK?
