It does point in a different direction from the MSM.
Why would that be the case, the good news is that they believe their own narrative which makes them open to failure.
Perfect.

The whole point of practical politicsmainstream media is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be lead to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. - H L Mencken

I believe Ratty may be celebrating a little after a few cold ones he may find accurate typing a somewhat elusive skill When it became obvious that there would not be a Labor win, it was about 10pm. I had a cup of coffee, went to bed and wondered why I couldn't sleep. This article - from our disgraceful ABC - must have been written with gritted teeth: Election results 2019: Coalition ahead on seats as predicted big swing to Labor falls shortIt will be some time before the final result is known and - while Labor cannot form government - there is still a possibility that ScoMo will achieve a majority. Congratulations Ratty ... I think. Copied from Labor's manifesto with slight changes to reflect current reality: Labor wasis committed to reducing Australia’s pollution by 45 per cent on 2005 levels by 2030 and net zero pollution by 2050.
We wereare also committed to 50 per cent renewable energy in our electricity mix by 2030.Maybe some of the population found their targets a little unrealistic?

Lost for words, Doug? I was too initially because all the polling and bookies were so certain of a Labor victory. In the event, ScoMo Trumped them!

Mike & Stephan haven't lost much: Both parties are locked in to Paris. The new-look Liberal-National Coalition will send us broke later.
