We shall see Sig, bizarrely, since February they've got pretty good at forecasting the easterlies. Yet notably not before in the past 2 winters, despite forecasting them, they never materialised.

The thing that has changed in their favor this year is the position of the Greenland High etc. It has moved, allowing for patterns from the east to hit you folks. The weather models use too much of the climate modeling, but like a stuck clock, they are going to be correct every now and then.

They're both of the coolist persuasion but discussing co2 is banned on the forum, not a bad plan really as discussions never go well on open forums! Plenty of subtle insinuations however. Nice people, but yes, I understand his accent is easier for English people to follow 😉

Gav thinks you're cold and snowed on for the weekend. I also noted snow for the Low Countries and NW Germany on the corner of his map. Perhaps Albert could explain the technical glitch in the progression to warmer winters. That could be quite entertaining. Over here in the colonies we have Big Joe to keep us informed on our side of the pond. Perhaps Gav can be our link across the pond. I'm starting to understand him better. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hiifethD-84

Through Saturday: Low pressure currently bringing snow to the West will move into the northern Plains and Midwest with snow and ice Friday and Saturday. The wintry weather from this system will mostly dissipate before reaching the East Coast. 2. Through Early Next Week: The second storm will bring snow to the West Coast beginning Thursday, spreading into the rest of the West Friday through Sunday, then into the Northern Plains Sunday into Monday before reaching the Midwest and Northeast beginning Tuesday. This system could evolve into the fourth coastal storm to affect the Northeast since March 2. weather.com/storms/winter/news/2018-03-14-snow-ice-west-midwest-east-mid-march
