I used to live about 12 miles from there. It was one of my favorite places to take visitors. People told me it was featured in Twin Peaks or some TV show, but I don't really watch TV, so I don't know about that.

Not for us on the west coast of the US, it would seem. The temperatures show that the jets and associated Ferrel cells are in a meridonal loop with California likely getting warm north westerly winds with continual rain (atmospheric river) and the center of the country getting the southerly loop very cold and probably dry.
