Unfortunately, it’s looking more and more like a tragedy. Shakesphere or Euripides? Or is it really bad ... Pelosi? 1859ish

We have the dust here in SE Queensland today, not as bad as Sydney. Can't get a decent picture where I live but the dust was very noticeable from the high points when I was out driving a couple of hours ago.

Blizzard warnings out for N Missouri Sunday with 5-9 inches of snow and 20-30 mph winds. The meek are looking perplexed. The snowflakes will know their namesake. Hope their electric vehicles don't get high centered. Acid ... how do you guys mark snow-buried Mini-Coopers in Britain? White cross?

Elizabeth, my mun AND my sister drive minis, my sister in particular drove through a foot of snow from motorway to country roads once, about as bad as we get!! Any identification should be union jack themed, ya know, to keep with the branding of the german car 😉

Must have been based around an old drive train originally designed for the Eastern Front? With lowered clearance for modern tastes.

I asked one of our mechanics to fit a piece of galvanised iron to the back of the grille, directly in front of the distributor (which was conveniently pointed directly at the weather .... or a sneeze). It was Thursday of the next week before we were able to get back to Brisbane. Hazardous Journey: 25 January 1974

Snow buried mini-coopers are normally marked by stalled snow-ploughs Note Minis have been made by the Germans for some years and they have grown considerably in girth since the days I drove one mmmble decades ago indeed I think that the latest ones are actually larger than the Austin 'Maxi'! They have become a caricature of the original vehicle and have to have the 'Mini Cooper' badge or would be unrecognizable.

Indeed, especially the maxi 😝 Nearly as dumb as a convertible range rover.....
