Over here, it's the hot humid weather that comes back to bite in Autumn, the same sort of thing in reverse. It's cool now and it is likely the hot stuff has gone for a few months.

33° at my place in The Catskills and snowing. Beautiful “spring” day! I know that’s nothing for Sig.

33° at my place in The Catskills and snowing. Beautiful “spring” day! I know that’s nothing for Sig. Just got in from mowing the yard, completely clear sky CAVOK - air temperature is 83F, the sea temperature is cool at 75F - light winds and cool (home made) beer Another early spring day in Florida

However, I rode my 4 wheeler a bit, started my log splitter, took the chains off the front wheels of my tractor and cut some winter debris with my chainsaw. Beer later. Another early spring day in The Catskills 😎.

here next to the water in socal its been a cool spring. Offshore water temps continue to drop annually from a 2015 maximum el nino condition and now are about normal over my experience. Hoping for albacore to return this year they have been gone now for 5 years instead giving the guys up north a lot of good fun and food. My canning supply is basically on the ropes with me hoarding a few precious jars over the past 3 years.
But albacore weather is in the air! Temps offshore are 2degF cooler than last year at this time. And now that I have had a cpap for sleep apnea now for about 10 years this is the first time this winter (late winter as Astromet predicted) I had to put some water in the humidification reservoir since I have had the thing. On my second machine the first I had for almost 9 years and it never saw water. Air seems unusually cool and dry except when precipitating and thats actually been more frequent this winter than I remember in a long time. Definitely some climate change going on this year here. And Oh, day time temps have been mostly mid 60's and nighttime lows in the high 50's over the past few weeks which has been real nice for that early morning foray down to the surfline, in my shorts, to wet a line compared to about a month ago when it was battling to stay out of the 40's

Normal-normal here in mid-MO. Best April in several years. Peaches are setting a spectacular crop. Flowers in profusion.
