Dont believe it, its fake news, guaranteed. Arctic ice is pretty much the same as '16, '17 and '18 as well. Armaggeddon is coming, you mark my wurds.

There isnt a civilization that has started yet and not been consigned to history. But how long. I wonder if we'd last 10,000 years?? 100,000..... Imagine the changes! But has a civilization yet failed due to fear, or cold hard reality? Aren't we better able now to push through challenges... All of us, some of us, is our knowledge now not so widespread that a stone age is no longer feasible?? Mostly we are overwhelming lucky to live in such comfort, with so much communication and availability of information. If there is Armageddon at least keep hope. Heck, have hope anyway.... (Late sunday wine talking 🍷🍷)

(Late sunday wine talking 🍷🍷) Much of the weather in UK is from winds that are 'returning polar maritime'. In other words polar air that was drawn down into the Atlantic then returns across the UK having been warmed and had its humidity raised by the Atlantic warm with the North Atlantic Drift. If the humidity (enthalpy) and heat content of the air stream are significantly changed then there will be impacts on the NW Europe temperatures.

Talking about winter in Oz...
Ironic perhaps? Quote: Blackheath resident Erica Mann was ecstatic to find fresh white powder falling in her garden, saying it was the most snow she had ever seen there.

Last night's TV weather report was warning of possible frosts as far North as Townsville. Observations for Hughenden (SSW of TVL) show a minimum of 1.5C this morning. FWIW, Claremont (SW of Mackay) had -1.2C yesterday.

Meanwhile in the Northern Hemisphere.... "Warnings of heavy rain and gales set to wash out this weekend and temperatures to plunge to 6C (42F) as forecasters say the unsettled weather shows no sign of stopping
Met Office expects this week to remain 'unsettled and changeable', with more rain on the way by weekend Areas of northern England had a month's worth of rain over the weekend with nearly 5in in parts of Cumbria UK surveys damage caused by 64mph winds over the weekend with 27 flood alerts in place for England today A yellow rain warning is in place for the north-east of the country on Monday evening and Tuesday morning "www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7350167/Warnings-heavy-rain-gales-set-wash-weekend.htmlThis could be called British Summer - but strangely no panic about Climate Change in this article. Whereas if the temperatures had been 35C there would have been hysterical headlines.

FWIW, Claremont (SW of Mackay) had -1.2C yesterday. That would be worse than the equivalent of frost south of Cancun Mexico (lat. 21 N). Townsville is 19.5 S. Fur-lined thongs may become popular. Has Townsville EVER had frost? I would guess not in recorded weather records?
