"Nevada – Winnemucca snowfall breaks 142-year-old record
Since at least 1877, maybe longer.
According to the National Weather Service, the .8 inch (20 mm) of snow recorded at Winnemucca Airport on Sunday, September 29, was the first snowfall in Winnemucca on that date since records-keeping began in 1877."www.iceagenow.info/nevada-winnemucca-snowfall-breaks-142-year-old-record/

If blue = cold, that doesn't look right for Australia.

Still doesn't look right. Probably grabbed from that bastion of non fake news, Electroverse.... Whats the point in getting upset with nonsense from agw types, if you just go and publish nonsense yourself 🤷♂️ Hence why i only ever post well critically thought and balanced things 👍😉 Edit....im kidding if course 😊

I tried to work how i normally do at 35°c couple of months ago, by 2pm i was not in a good way, couldnt get enough fluids in fast enough! I live in SE Texas where it is 35C just about every day from June through at least mid September with very high humidity. If you have to work out in the sun like I do you will learn that a pre-dawn start is imperative as is drinking lots and lots of water. It's actually hard to stay hydrated so I like to have my outdoor tasks done by 10 am. I wear long pants, long sleeve shirts a hat with flaps that cover my ears, neck and help shade my face. From 8:30 to 10:00 I wear a full "ninja mask" and polarized sunglasses. Funny thing is I used to do this work with no shirt, no hat and my day would not start until 10 am. Nowadays as I have aged and grew a little wiser I have re-evaluated the effects of the sun. Another ironic thing is I used to make fun of the people who wore those "ninja masks".

When i go the beach in the med, i now take a sun umbrella, and wear a rash vest in the sea. I don't see any value in lying under a hot sun 🤷♂️
