Copenhagen Checklist:
1. Parka and snuggly slippers 2. Copy of Algore's new book 3. Carbon credits to cover air travel to and from the conference 4. RealClimate print-out of Climategate denial statements 5. Wikipedia graphs that prove AGW despite their questionable genesis 6. Space heaters for the media room (Jedi mind games equipment)

The Copenhagen report is right. But maybe not as they thought. They state: "The turning point must come soon:" And they are right. The turning point have arrived with the release of the program files.

The comment section is more important than the article.

trbixler It is like a series of timed releases. It is always much worse than we thought. I wonder if in the CRU data sets there is release clock driven by the hockey stick.
It could be likened to a morphine pump. Anyone who knows/knew someone that had one of those knows how it ends. AGW is about to die but it wants to spawn something evil somewhere else before it dies. Thats the whole point of the EPA or if you watched the Simpsons movie, EEEEPAA.
Copenhagen is all about planting the seeds elsewhere before it dies. What was that movie called that was set in the arctic research station with the alien dog/thing.
BTW as i my earlier post, I'd just take a couple of hookers and 20 bottles of red. Just don't tell the wife.

trbixler ...BTW as [per] my earlier post, I'd just take a couple of hookers and 20 bottles of red. Just don't tell the wife. So you'd take two MSM journalists and 20 Obama appointees? Doesn't sound like that much fun to me.

Obama is hoping
"to give legitimacy to a "politically binding" agreement that host Denmark still hopes to achieve"
This is nothing more than an end to Democracy - as traditionally practised in the West - but I guess that is what they want.
How can it be "politically binding" when the democratic processes in each country are being bypassed.

How can it be "politically binding" when the democratic processes in each country are being bypassed(?) In most legal systems, fraud has no statute of limitations. Moreover, a signature obtained by fraudulent means is invalid ab origine. We still need to prevent Obama from signing the Copenshaggen Treaty, if we possibly can. If not, we will still at least get to watch POTUS make a spectacle of himself, once again ;D. Will he bow 90° to KRudd ? Or just 60°? Will he kiss Rajendra Pachauri's feet ? Will he claim he was just looking for a contact lens afterwards?

What we will see at Copenhagen is a grand gathering of the worlds largest egos. They will strut and squawk and flap their wings in attempts to out do each other and attract the attention of onlookers. Should be quite entertaining. ;D

You have two strong conflicts here. You have the Spanish conflict, which shows that subsidies towards a "green" economy will bankrupt the country and cause business to flee and the un and underemployment number to skyrocket. That conflict works for the leaders......but not the citizens of countries. Then you have the US conflict....of which China and India are part off....which says that they are not willing to scrap their economies for fraudulent science. And it is fraud........that, in my mind, has been fact for quit some time now. I know in most countries when the leader speaks...it bears weight. WEll, in our unique country.....President Obama can promise the sky.....but it doesn't mean squat. A fly shitting on a doorknob would have more impact than President Obama committing the US to some scheme. Ya see....in THIS country.....and cap and trade is sooooooooooo dead, the SENATE has to ratify any treaty or comittment. And the US SENATE will never.......everrrrrrrrrrr........ratify said bullshit. Remember Kyoto? 96-0.....well...copenhagen.....while some claim a great chew and spit thing.......might get a vote of 94-2. Boxer and Kerry would surely vote for it, but I can't think of one other Senator who would. Even the threat of the EPA....(Carol Browner)...is no threat. With the CRU breach, the lawsuits will forever forestall regulation of co2. For....in another unique thinigs.....when it is in litigation in the US, the regulation can't be enforced. We are deff a ......mmmm..how did one of my British friends put it........a frisky country.
