I would also like to recommend the Jaworowski article to which a link can be found in my answer to socold, this thread page 1 bottom part. That link reflects what I learned in school. I will freely admit that I do not believe the IPCC. To say that proxy style data over rides direct measurements is foolish. RAther than trying to adjust the past actual measurements, the scientists should have been looking at WHY the ice core data did NOT show what was there. I can't remember the paper, but it is from 2009 showing that ice core co2 data is still contaminated.
