White House Press Secretary Jay Carny today speaking about the ACA. “The systems we put in place worked, the demand for the product was there, and most importantly, millions of families are getting health care coverage,” Carney said. The demand for the product was there because it was forced on the public. Protection money is what gangsters call it. Protection from unforeseen tragic events... E.g., " Our Thing"

I forgot to save my bookmarks and am having a hard time finding the one that showed the current Kelvin wave. Try Zotero ( www.zotero.org/ ). All free, public domain. Captures web pages, PDFs, images. The "Storage" section contains a sqlite relational database for the metadata of the item, plus tags, cross-references, etc. Its acts as searchable index to a separate storage folder, in which are sub-folders containing document data. A generated alphanumeric GUID cross-references database to storage sub-folders. Provides selection by tags, text search or user-defined queries. Produces a set of standard reports; these may be modified by the user. Supports your notes; also tagged and cross-referenced. Can generate bibliographic references in a variety of citation styles. I'm having no trouble carrying 5500 entries. Before you migrate from XP to Windows 7, remember that installing Windows 7 is a clean install, and will delete all data. Backup your data before installing. Find your application disks. Review www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&docid=428246Good luck!!

In the U.K., it is killing seniors from cold (energy taxes). I have seen three such reports.

I was concerned that our Black Walnut Trees may not survive this winter. Just looked up their cold tolerance. Appears should still be ok. We planted 2 many years ago that have become very beautiful. They are also producing 100+lbs of walnuts, which are a chore to open. A straight line wind 2 years ago really wrecked havoc on one of them. Broke 6" branches at the trunk. But it still survives, wind torn yet majestic. My Grandson has a name for the fruit.....meatballs.....LOL. Since the 2 survived, we have planted a few more. My kids retirement trees. On prevention of soil erosion by wind (Great Plains): Sykes, Frank. Humus and the Farmer. London: Faber and Faber limited, 1946 Subjects: Agriculture, Agriculture --Great Britain, Soils, Manures, Humus. xix, 288 p. plates, group port., 2 fold. maps, diagrs. 23 cm I believe it also touched upon windbreaks (rows of trees on borders of fields). Also, useful cheap remedies to gullies cut by water runoff; I still use them.

Lots of cold and snow? Surely, by this time you know that CO2 causes Climate Change; the consensus must make it so. Just be glad that this is water snow, and not Carbon Dioxide snow.

"In a study that is likely to irritate climate change skeptics, the researchers concluded that unusually strong trade winds pushed hotter waters deep below the surface and raised colder waters but global warming –typically based on ocean temperatures - will soon continue." Nice try, but Bob Tisdale will tell you that trade winds heap warmer water in the western Pacific. Colder water replaces it, perhaps by the Humboldt Current. Then the trade winds reverse. For starters (but explore the site, especially ENSO): Tisdale, Bob. “Edition 2 of Book ‘Who Turned on the Heat? – The Unsuspected Global Warming Culprit, El Niño-Southern Oscillation.’” Scientific. Bob Tisdale - Climate Observations, November 14, 2012. bobtisdale.wordpress.com/2012/11/14/edition-2-of-book-who-turned-on-the-heat-the-unsuspected-global-warming-culprit-el-nino-southern-oscillation/
