Isn't that so typical. At least you know it's good science - when the result is nothing like expected, because there's something they didn't anticipate.
wow that's an amazing story tobyglyn. I'd say fast solar system movement can be attributed to MOND. There's no way the conservatives who did the maths for GPB would look into MOND dynamics, so it's caught them out. mond isn't just for stars around the galactic centre, it's any attraction force as long as it's weak, so sol and it's neighbours could have mond attraction. I've yet to read anything mond - redshift related.
