See if you can get a snow compactor so that you can ship some to socold--they've got more global warming over there.

As I look on the current situation, I think, that winter will be again warm in Europe. Cold air is on far east. There is really hot in Russia, that means no cold air for central and east Europe. So there will be again lows, which will draw off cold air on US and hot air above ocean. I don't think, that anticyclone in area of UK/Iceland will last. And as soon as will start west circulation, winter will be lost again

Currently there is more lying snow in Russia than this time last year. Also current weather models are showing that Europe will cool significantly next week ;D We live in hope

Yes, I know. We are expecting snow at weekend (today, we had first freeze, -5°C), so I'm really looking forward to it, but question is, how long will this situation last. I hope, that for a long time. I really miss winter after those two warm years

This upcoming cold spell in Europe is going to be one of the coldest for November in some time. It's basically a redux of what happened in late October, except the Arctic air will be going further east.

Predictions now start REALLY confusing me. I know, a cold spell will come but if you find info about if this spell will move southeast, (to North Greece) please let me know. Any info about that, for temps, winds and phenomena. ( I want this to come ;D but more recent predictions say not.... so im confused with these....others say it will come but North Greece will only have low temps no phenomena when cold arrives...) this is so difficult...

Winter finally arrives to Czech Republic. There are several warnings from forecasters: glaze, strong wind, snow-drift. I expecting snow in lowlands about three hours from now. Mountains are already under white blanket

Well this winter storm wont affect my place (Greece) as much as other places but we will have lots of lots of rain and strong south winds. Temps will fall here too of course but not for more than 36 hours. Strong snows only in 300-600 hieght and above. But anyways! i am still happy to see a snowy weather in europe. ;D Well this cold spell, at least most of its consistence is about to last until the upcoming Thursday. i do not know what follows next but i do know that there will be lots of autumn times from monday in Greece and Italy mostly. Comfortable T with lots of rain. (that should have happened time before) but at least it will happen . So mostly rainy let it be for southern countries until the end of November. No one knows what will follow next. These rains will remind us a little of the good old times that we had lots of rains before (mostly to Greece) ...though it will happen a lil later than normal

Well the weather models seem to be pointing to a colder period across europe and the UK over the next few weeks.
There will be some warmer spells interspersed. Also some models show a scandinavian high pressure forming to the end of next week, if this occurs then Europe and the UK will really freeze!!
It's not even December yet ;D

Yeah it is true. But not all europe, These cold spells will affect UK and Western or, Western and central europe too. Eastern Europe does not seem to be affected by a severe cold at least til the end of November. And, well yes it is still end of November and we started really good ;D. Eastern europe, southern-central europe and southeast europe will have lots of rains til the end of November. There is a chance for this weather to last another 1 week in December (til 8 Dec) and it is very likely for strong cold spells start occuring in east europe after that. But we have a long time since then. Prognostics change everyday, we will see many surprises for sure, i guess. But let me note that til the most recent updates, this cold spell will last till 28 november (that is much ;D) so after that west and central europe will have mostly rainy weather too like east europe. Time will show what really follows next, as we can not really know for sure what will really follow.
