They will thank Abbot later. Claiming that China promising to keep its rate of coal fired generation plant building steady at one every 10 days until 2030 is an agreement on CO2 emissions only goes to show how far people believe their own spin.

What the article doesn't mention is that we have a "Direct Action" plan which is hoped to reduce carbon emissions similarly to the United States by < nominate_a_year_here>. Direct ActionIf you were biased against the Abbott government, you might fail to mention that.

So not sure where this fits but found the idea that fishing a vector to iron depletion interesting. One tonne of iron converts one million tonnes of CO2 to biomass is extraordinary. within this lives a green project that feeds millions, "fix's" billions of tonnes of CO2 into benign fish or deposition on the sea floor, it scavenges CO2 from the sea water allowing the seawater to remain more basic and it is simply restoring the iron levels to pre-fishing levels. A large portion of the benefits would flow to poor nations. russgeorge.net/2014/09/25/fish-give-back-iron-sustain-ocean-pastures/I wonder if geo-engineering can be made to be a good idea.
