Here it comes folks ... the beginning salvo. California and New York are not happy that they can't force their opinions and lifestyle on the rest of us by force of numbers. Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., introduced a pair of constitutional amendments that would eliminate the Electoral College ... Trump secured the 2016 election by winning the Electoral College with 304 votes to Democrat Hillary Clinton’s 232. But Clinton beat Trump by nearly 3 million in the popular vote. Especially since then, many Democrats have vociferously opposed the system.

This is pure granstanding Fortunately, it takes a little more than a congressman or even a decision of congress to change the way federal elections are carried out. It seems that many of the new crop of democrat congressmen have no understanding of the Constitution or the law. But are providing a glimpse of what life could be like for the United States if The Tenth Amendment and the Enumerated Powers (Article I, Section 8 of the United States Constitution)had not been put in place. Congressmen and Senators proposing legislation or changes to legislation that is outside their enumerated powers should be automatically recalled. It might make them bone up on civics before taking their seats.

It might make them bone up on civics before taking their seats. Unfortunately these representatives are a true reflection of the people that elected them. Arizona, Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia and even Texas are morphing because of the population centers that embrace a centralized, maternalistic government. The US Constitution is an obstacle but as we have seen, is only preserved by the honor system. Once they have enough of the states intoxicated, they’ll get a constitutional convention with the MSM cheering them on. The electoral college and 2 Senators per state are huge obstacles but...they were instituted by a bunch of old, white, elite, sexist slave holders in ancient times.

"Markus Somm of the Swiss Baseler Zeitung (BaZ) here has an interesting commentary on why Spiegel and CNN-award wining journalist Claas Relotius had been able to get away with writing totally made up stories for as long as he did.
Claas Relotius is the journalist who traveled to rural Fergus Falls, Minnesota, immediately after the inauguration of then president-elect Donald Trump in order to find out why rural America voted so heavily in favor of Trump. The reason in a nutshell, according to Relotius: because rural Americans are uneducated, blindly patriotic, gun-bearing, narrow-minded rednecks. In his article he provided numerous examples to back it up. The problem, however: he made it all up! Today it has arguably become the biggest journalistic scandal in at least 10 years. Both Relotius and Spiegel have been disgraced. Further investigation uncovered that Relotius had been writing phony news for years. The BAZ asks: How could this have happened and why hadn’t he been exposed much earlier?"

I should have known that Charlie Oscar the 2nd had something to do with this. University of Michigan and Stanford University researchers found carbon dioxide from car and factory exhaust reduced a natural toxin in milkweed that feeding caterpillars use to fight parasites.

I think maybe Charlie Oscar the 2nd's father is the culprit.

Sig- politicians never have enough money to spend. They have an insatiable appetite. No program they create ever comes to an end, no problem gets solved. They don’t create wealth, they impound it. Washington spends to preserve power and money is no object since they own the printing presses. The US dollar is a faith based system and God help us all if the faith disappears. Just my 2¢ (US).
