We should be happy for our friends south of the border. A stronger, more stable Mexican economy should be good for us too. Besides ... it'll help them pay for that wall. I thought you may find this of interest Missouriboy. Others as well, as it confirms the graphs you presented not long ago!!!! realclimatescience.com/2017/08/ghcn-software-version-2-0/

I'm kind of looking forward to the logic knots that will be woven trying to explain all of this. Alexander had the right idea when approaching 'knotty' problems.

Meanwhile, globally, oil prices are surging as OPEC production cuts and global demand increases come home to roost.

It seems to depend on the browsers and also if you have some ad blockers - I can't see my links in some of my browsers (I have a collection ) The one that reliably shows them is 'Pale Moon' browser

I will put this here as its almost appropriate. Seems like the Tesla has a minor issue that would make normal driving a tiny bit financially risky... "the official answer from Tesla was that the fording depth for the Tesla was zero. as in not a single puddle. Now we all know this is a bit extreme, but it’s certainly the easy answer from them.”Don't drive Tesla's through a puddle. See thread at E.M.Smith's blog Chiefio here: chiefio.wordpress.com/2018/06/21/what-happens-when-sparky-car-sits-in-a-puddle/

10.4 million barrels a day is awesome. But wait to see the economic benefits as we start to export more and more LNG. Currently we only have 1 terminal that is exporting LNG. 5 more are set to go online over the next 2 years bringing the total export over 7.5 Billion cubic ft per day! Good times!!!! We have trillions of cubic ft locked up in shale plays all over the states. It is cleaner than coal and right under our feet. instituteforenergyresearch.org/analysis/u-s-become-major-lng-exporter/

Can I put my hand up for some of yours? I'm using this far too often these days ....

"Permian Basin could double oil production by 2023, trailing only Saudi Arabia, Russia
An increase from the current 3.2 million barrels per day to 5.4 million would push the Permian Basin past all countries except Saudi Arabia and Russia. The region started 2018 at about 2.8 millions of barrels per day, but production has increased in recent months in response to rising oil prices.
The region already produces more crude than many member nations of the oil cartel, OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries). " www.dallasnews.com/business/energy/2018/06/13/permian-basin-could-double-oil-production-2023-trail-saudi-arabiaNote that is JUST the Permian Basin in Texas
