We need a warmer climate. Think of the suffering that would be alleviated if we could get the sun to warm the world another 1.5 to 2.0C! Not only more hippos and elephants, but more food production via the Sahara!!! www.technologyreview.com/s/515436/a-green-sahara/amp/

You suppose they're foolish enough to drink their own cool-aid when they've got a steady gig with government?

We should have something similar on this forum, What do you think the temperature will be in say 10/20 years compared to today? I reckon it will be 1 or 2 degrees F less than now in both periods.

If Theo is to be believed I think your quantities are correct but you have the wrong units 1 or 2 degrees C less than now. Global Average Temperature is really a nonsense in metrology (that is METROLOGY). The highest and lowest temperature observations are 'averaged' which is really the mean of the temperatures (fail one) then those are averaged again over a month (fail two) etc etc. Then those nonsense figures are adjusted, used to homogenize observations or invent observations up to 1200Km away.... The one thing you can depend upon is as it is snowing in New York in August NASA GISS will be reporting the hottest year evah!

If the forecasts by Theo and others are borne out - these groups are going to look particularly stupid. One would hope that they are exposed in their stupidity.

I'm pretty sure that the pivot from “Global Warming” to “Climate Change” as the big scare was a hedge to capture whatever the future holds. They are going to blame a steep decline in global temperatures on CO2 and say cooling is much worse than warming and only $$$ can fix the damage done by the deniers!

We live on a globe, not a flat earth. That is the mistake a lot of folks make. (The flat earth folks..........AGW folks)
