I've never understood why China has been getting such a pass in general. Economically, we could have yanked the rug out from under them so fast their heads would have spun. The idea that because they hold some of our freely traded bonds is a misguided concern. It doesn't really mean anything.

The idea that because they hold some of our freely traded bonds is a misguided concern. It doesn't really mean anything. Walnut: But, in reality it does. The economic system is actually controlled by a few folks. One of the key concepts of a Capitalistic system is exploitation. Money moved to China because they could ignore environmental hazards. There was also a very large "hungry" population, so a work force to be exploited. IF we had pulled the rug on China, the folks who had now become the exploiters would not be happy. Result would probably be war. War is a money machine for some, but it has to be a "controlled" war. No place in the world is now immune. The USA, because of the oceans, used to be immune. No longer. Changes the parameters of the arguments of old doesn't it?

Since I grew aware of how much climate change impacts our lives, I've tried to implement a more greener lifestyle. And my ideas are even reaching my wife, parents and even some friends. However, I would like to know what you are doing to fight the climate change. Here it is a list of the changes I've already done: 1 - I only use my car in the weekends and only if I need to. I travel to work by bus. 2 - I'm cutting off the red meat from all my meals. 3 - I don't use plastic bags anymore. When I go to the supermarket I use a cloth bag. To finish, I'll leave here a post with tips to help stop the climate change: abcofsolar.com/10-simple-things-you-can-do-to-help-the-world-climate/ Looking forward to your answers! :)Climate change has been happening for close to 5 billion years, climate change began, before the Earth had a climate, as changes made by the Earth such as volcanism, created the climate that we have today. So trust me, there is nothing that can be done to stop what has been happening for 5 billion years, nor should any rational human want to do such a dumb thing.

And yet again, the underlying paradigm remains unquestioned. "People are routinely told about—and routinely ignore—the bad things THEY are doing to the climate. The attribution studies show that the climate is doing bad things back."

it's true ... as far as it's gone. Hope they can find a way to bring back global warming! Maybe I'll just accept a holodeck with a masseuse! And a space heater!

"3) Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk has said repeatedly recently that “autonomous driving” is almost a solved problem. He estimates by 2023 it will be a reality. Plain and simple, humans driving cars as we know is all too dangerous." He's right, of course: AUDI Race: Language Alert!

He forgot to mention that, 'humans driving the economy are also all too dangerous'. NO ... I am not a Socialist poster child!
