Well, Ninas can last for multiple years. Often the first year is deepest, but there are examples of the second year being the biggy. Write all this down for your kids, in case they have to interpret it. Yes, the winter of 2020-21 will be cold and snowy, but it will be a short winter. Then, the coming winter & spring of 2022 will be a winter for the ages - especially for two thirds of North America - with much snow, ice and subzero temperatures lasting well through spring 2022 as it will also be a La Nina winter for many as well along with incursions of arctic air by means of the polar vortexes. It will be so bad that many regions will go from winter 2022 to summer 2022 as spring 2022 will essentially be non-existent due to the horrendous winter conditions that will cause a mini-permafrost due to the layers of snow and ice lasting well into 2022. As for the La Nina forecast I made here and other places 10 years ago for the time that is now approaching, see ->> www.iceagenow.info/70-percent-chance-of-la-nina-forming-says-weather-agency/?fbclid=IwAR23hIvqb0nO46BH0AfZP_zF9FY038ExjnTs7P6Fqq0yCwA6uCvhUc4gepYTHANKS ASTRO. Do you think that the south of Portugal would be better than mid-Missouri?

I like your style. Presume you have a private jet. Not on my salary. But I like to think big. Sooner or later, Portugal may let us Americans in again.

Yes we need to think positively.
Interesting to read how Astro reads it my thinking always goes to how the CAGW cabal will spin it.
To that end winter deaths are the language of change, I watch with interest a Germany with still wind and solar panel under snow and -20C for a week, that will be focusing to the world.

We can already see what is happening in California. Have a few hot still days under an anticyclone and there is not sufficient power to support the grid when the sun goes down. Yet they are planning the shut down of 3 more major power generation stations. When there are blackouts Governor Newsome blamed the power generation companies not his policies. There would be more blackouts but California has been relying on interconnectors from other states. When they wanted power in the last couple of weeks - those interconnectors were getting nothing as their States were also on renewables or at peak load themselves. What concerns me is the continuing push from politicians for going to all electric homes and cars hugely increasing demand, while at the same time taking steps to rapidly reduce supply. They don't even understand the issues of supplying extra power to existing towns and housing stock. I have often thought if a system perhaps using smart meters could be set up so that politicians homes, offices and congress/parliament lost power EVERY TIME power went down somewhere in their country/state/constituency then their minds may be more concentrated on supply rather then clever ways of increasing consumption.

That would be nice. But I'm not sure that Lemmings actually understand just what they have done even after jumping off of the cliff. Humanity may save itself ... but only after ignoring all the dumb-as-rocks baggage.

And ... since we don't often get whole videos on climate in Oz, I'll throw this in. Even though it's 2 weeks old.

THANKS ASTRO. Do you think that the south of Portugal would be better than mid-Missouri? Possibly Missouriboy, but with the south of Portugal, there is the need to mind geophysical issues, such as earthquakes. As long as the seismology does not result in the 'La Palma land slip and tsunami' That could make Florida not a good place to be.

Adapt 2030 starts off all fourth turning and great reset then moves to magnetic structures in the Solar system and the effect on the seismology of the Earth. All the way through raising similar points to Theo about making sure you have food.
