How were the temperatures supposedly computed? What were the data sources? You would need to look at the particular papers. They look at the isotope make up of stalagmites/stalactites, growlines on hills, types/species and isotopic make up of foraminifera laid down in sedimentary rocks etc etc There are lots of proxies for 'temperature'. Geologists tend to use more reliable methods than climate 'scientists'.

I presume you know what "proxies" means, i.e. we couldn't possibly get the data we really would have like to have had ... so we measured lots of completely unrelated stuff and then CLAIMED that it "indicates" or "points to" totally accurate data of the type we really wish we had with no margin of error. Word to the wise: If you see the word "proxies" ... throw it away immediately. It's not worth the garbage pile into which you are tossing it.

Hansen: More CO2 causes a reduction in OLR, leading to climate warming; this is the mechanism of the GHGE.
Why didn't anyone simply point out that this is an egregious violation of physics, specifically of Stefan-Boltzmann, and leave it at that?

The reference paper is from 2012 one would have thought it would have attracted more attention. I can only assume as it didn't fit the narrative it was ignored.
