So that leaves investors to sit in the cellar electronically running their hands through their uninvested current bank accounts and giggling miserly to themselves? The problem being that if the Bank goes base over apex - then their money disappears in the new 'bail in' made so popular in the EU. They have to put their money somewhere so now why do you think that the DOW is so high? But if manufacturing businesses start making money due 75% regulation and tax cuts and the Government actually reduces in size (20% staff cut minimum) and expenditure - is that not a good way to start recovering?? There are some like the EU that will remain solidly spending other people's money - and they will be pushed deeper into debt. But at 15% tax rates for business USA becomes a tax haven, several trillion of money starts flowing back in under the 'forgiveness' tax rate. All of a sudden there is a 'virtuous circle' running the only place in the world to put money with some expectation of a return (especially now the subsidy farms are running out of subsidy) is the USA and industry there. Some billionaires seem to have bet on the world crash so expect to see it being talked up continually.
Yes it is close to the edge and the world would have gone over that edge by this time next year if Hillary had been elected, but I am not so convinced now that the US will crash. Arthur Laffer feels the USA recovery will be unstoppable after the initial period with adaptation to 'Trumpism'. At the same time I expect the EU to fragment in less than 5 years as it will be in the 'run out of other people's money' state as soon as the UK stops paying in with Brexit.
Strap in - buy popcorn futures - we are in for a really wild ride.
As a late addition - the Fabian Socialists were convinced to bring the world they wanted they had first to destroy the status quo (that is the message in the so called Fabian Window) this entire process is a deliberate attempt to crash the Bretton Woods economic system by the progressives.

Doing my civic duty tomorrow. Testifying against a bill that my nutjob senator sponsored. I am hoping I will be more persuasive than she is. Shouldn't be too hard.

Yep. I think I have a "larrikin streak" somewhere. I think a larrikin wrote this: It's a form of irreverence, manifesting in a dislike for pomp & ceremony and - more recently - political correctness.

Great word "larrikin" is that the actual spelling Ratty?
In NZ we use the word Munted. Larrikin has a longer provenance but it has the same satisfying roll about it.

The Free Dictionary: LarrikinIt's taken on a broader meaning over the years; I like to think of a larrikin as a person with apparent disregard for convention, a maverick. Synonym: Ratty Incidentally, the cartoonist is Larry Pickering, in case you didn't notice. Another Pickering .....
