In any group you will find those whose focus is not on 'the job' but more on the organization. These people do not seek promotion from the people doing the job they move into 'organizing' and union etc, They make links with like minded 'community organizers' in other equivalent groups. This has been going on with a 'common purpose' for decades in UK, Oz and now the USA.....and leads to this...

Is it true Ratty? Australians 'are not silly' and won't buy into climate change 'hysteria'There seems to be a genuine backlash developing against the extinction protesters. "Australians are not silly" is probably true but our population - thru the media, most politicians and the education system - has been brainwashed for about thirty years. Public opinion on climate change/extinction is like an oil tanker travelling at full speed on the ocean. I am aware of five politicians who are game to rock the boat. ** One, Craig Kelly posts daily on FarceBook and is regularly on Sky News setting the record straight. Kelly is mocked and dismissed as a crackpot by most of our media. The point that Andrew Bolt made about politicians not rubbishing the bizarre claims of the protesters is pertinent but Aussie politicians who veer from the climate gospel are likely risking re-election. There is only so much a lone rat can do to turn the tanker ..... ** maintaining the nautical theme

This article is worth a read - interesting that although it is about UK and Brexit - you will see considerable parallels with Trump's election and the current efforts to remove him. Not only that, it explains why there are 'Never Trump' republicans who would have preferred Hillary to win. There is definitely a worldwide 'swamp' and this piece describes it well. " The real origins of Brexit
It's not that long ago we seemed to be cruising serenely towards a particular future. The pieces were in place, the scene was set, even if a little fine-tuning was needed. The arrangement seems obvious now to those not too invested to notice: we were, and still are, in the grip of a professional elite who expect a decisive say in how the country is run, and in how its people should think, behave and be treated, without ever having their own sovereignty or supremacy challenged, and despite bringing very little to the table in terms of talent or achievement. At one point we seemed destined for more of the same, but Brexit was a vote for a change of direction.
What's curious is how all this came to pass on the watch of supposedly egalitarian governments, in an evermore progressive culture. What were the ideological underpinnings of a development that saw well-heeled nonentities accumulating ever more wealth and prestige, while contributing precious little to the national good?"Full post here: atticbug.blogspot.com/2019/09/the-real-origins-of-brexit.html

It does - here is James Delingpole on a parallel rant.... "Grudging tolerance has gradually given way to a simmering sense of injustice: “How can it be”, ordinary folk have started to wonder, “that these privileged wanktards with their pointless degrees in Environmental Sciences and Advanced Poi are free to build pyramids at Oxford Circus and block Westminster Bridge when if I tried it I’d get myself chucked in jail?”"www.breitbart.com/europe/2019/10/19/canning-town-rebellion-smells-like-brexit-victory/

For those interested in the state of Brexit.... Read it and you will see the Swamp extends across the Atlantic..... "THE SUNDAY ESSAY: Thwarting Remain isn’t enough; only a new Reform Movement will save us now
.......The eternal Fifth Column
This is the second biggest factor driving my view of events at the moment. Without a serious purge of the Treasury, the Foreign Office, Military Intelligence and other redoubts in Whitehall and our media set, not only will Clean Brexit never happen; even the Brino version will be reversed at the first available opportunity.
The Alternative State in Britain is firmly of the view that The People can’t be trusted, that they know better, and it is their job to mould, harden and if necessary overrule the electorate’s feelings as expressed at the ballot box. Anyone walking round on the cuckoo-cloud of “Job Done” after October 31st is going to wind up bitterly disappointed: the reality is that British State sector teachers are crammed to the gills with pc fluffies determined to eradicate all contrarian thinking. The main brainwashing task has been the other legs on the Alt State stool; and any lie, any insane maths, and any double standards will do to ram that advantage home..........."Much more here: hat4uk.wordpress.com/2019/10/20/the-sunday-essay-thwarting-remain-isnt-enough-only-a-new-reform-movement-will-save-us-now/
