Meanwhile, in Canada ... www.theblaze.com/news/politician-says-pickup-trucks-glorify-violence-and-dominion-questions-male-truck-owners-masculinity-but-then-gets-angry-when-they-question-hisPolitician trashed on social media. "The mental leap from 'the message on the truck is harmful, glorifying global warming is violent and the size/mods on this truck make it more dangerous for others on the road' to 'Mathew is a d***less, ball-less, spineless, soy latte drinking, city living p***y who's never done a day of 'real' work in his life, sits down to pee, hates all trucks, the hard working people that drive them and wants to control our lives' actually illustrates the toxicity I was mentioning in the hashtags better than anything I could have done myself," he railed.

"TEN REASONS WHY BORIS’S GREEN AGENDA IS JUST PLAIN WRONG Home >Blog >Boris’s green agenda is just plain wrong Published on: Sunday, 22 November, 2020 While climate change is a real issue and must be tackled, the prime minister's 10-commandment plan is not the way to go about it My article for The Telegraph:
Our fearless leader has descended from the mountain with a 10-commandment plan for a green industrial revolution. At a cost of £12 billion, he will have all Britons driving electric cars powered by North Sea wind turbines and giving up their gas boilers to heat their homes with ground-source heat pumps. He will invent zero-emission planes and ships. This vast enterprise will create 250,000 jobs. I am a loyal supporter of the prime minister, but this Ed Miliband policy makes no sense any way you look at it. Here are 10 reasons why.
First, if it’s jobs we are after then spending £48,000 per job is a lot. Cheaper, as Lord Lawson put it, to create the same employment erecting a statue of Boris in every town. Anyway, it’s backwards: it’s not jobs in the generating of energy that count but jobs that use it. Providing cheap, reliable energy enables the private sector to create jobs for free as far as the taxpayer is concerned."More here> www.rationaloptimist.com/blog/boris-s-green-agenda-is-just-plain-wrong/

The Scottish National Party (aka Scots Nats) are getting restive again and talking about trying to secede from the union and join the EU. Spain has already said no *******g chance as they have the Catalan province wanting to do the same thing and will not encourage them by allowing Scotland to do so. Anyway, many Scots are against the idea - I thought you might like to follow the cogent arguments in this video. I lived for 5 years in Scotland just south of Glasgow it was interesting as my brain started catching up with the accent

Anyway, many Scots are against the idea - I thought you might like to follow the cogent arguments in this video. I lived for 5 years in Scotland just south of Glasgow it was interesting as my brain started catching up with the accent I assume that all of this is just a modern equivalent of the following. Well the Scots Nats would like to think so. But the bravest thing most of them will do is after a few too many 'pints o'heavy' will start raucously singing 'Flower of Scotland' and insist everyone stand and sing along with them. If the Scots knew history they would realize that King James VI of Scotland became King James 1 of England and Ireland when Elizabeth the first of England died childless. So the Scots actually took over the union. A lot of the problems that remain are actually based on old religious differences between catholics vs protestants; racial Picts vs Celts; and, geographic/language highlander vs lowlander (all the same skin colour so not racist? ) Those differences meant more than the border marked by Hadrian which was where the Romans decided it wasn't worth going any further North and built their wall.

We are a deeply left wing country normally and particularly now.
Ridiculous for our Government to lecture the Australians. The height of arrogance and a total misunderstanding of how small a 5 million people country is. Reminds me of a Childs growth stages also apparent in dogs as described by Paige.

The height of arrogance and a total misunderstanding of how small a 5 million people country is. Reminds me of a Childs growth stages also apparent in dogs as described by Paige. We are an extremely bi-polar country these days. It is primarily an urban / rural thing with strong regional disparities. Not that there are not conservatives in the cities, but they are overwhelmed by the split. The Northeast and Left Coast have long been different than the Midwest, the South and much of the West. GDS is at play amongst the flock, and the sheep are growing fangs.
