You will find this relationship to large Urban areas / colleges-universities also in the USA (That South Wales area is interesting). A BS degree in Social Justice (or equivalent) appears to be popular. Probably about as useful as Druid incantations in warding off Roman swords engaged in gutting and the chopping down of sacred oaks.

I have been extremely busy at work on an important project for the last few weeks. Driving home late from work the evening before the vote I listened to a “news” station. They breathlessly reported that Boris had fallen dramatically in recent polls and that he was about to be toast. I chuckled to my exhausted self then and laughed out loud when I saw the election outcome. Widely publicized polls only exist to propagandize the mob-electorate. |

"The highest court in the Netherlands has upheld a ruling requiring the government to slash greenhouse gas emissions by at least 25% of 1990 levels by the end of next year, reports BBC News.
The case was brought six years ago by the Urgenda environment group in a bid to force ministers to go well beyond EU targets.
