Welcome back Blu! We were afraid that you had packed up and moved to OZ. The plumes may have been as important as the NAD in keeping those Russian shipping lanes open.

Welcome back Blu! We were afraid that you had packed up and moved to OZ. Mo'boy- I'm still here. I'm just a cork floating on the surface of the ocean... OZ is not where I would disappear to, they wouldn't allow me to bring a lot of my "things".

OZ is not where I would disappear to, they wouldn't allow me to bring a lot of my "things". That surface seems to be getting a little rougher. Next time you're in Mass, please stop and see if the Concord Bridge is still there. There are rumors that it has been sold out to China.

The bridge is still there though I doubt I'll be going anytime soon to visit.

It probably won't energize an IPCC conference though.

It probably won't energize an IPCC conference though. If it had been put in monetary terms ........

It probably won't energize an IPCC conference though. They are already an incredible source of hot air...(gas).

This probably should be here.... "The Earth’s rotation is changing speed: should we be worried? Our planet is spinning at a faster and faster rate. By Dr Alastair Gunn" www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/earth-rotation-speed/Well should we be forecasting gloom or nothing to see here; after all a few microseconds a year is not a lot in the grand scheme of things. But it is significant in terms of rotational energy What does the team think?

This should probably go here.... " The Earth’s rotation is changing speed: should we be worried? "www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/earth-rotation-speed/www.sciencefocus.com/planet-earth/earth-rotation-speed/So everything was hunky dory the planet was steadily slowing rotation and Length of Day increasing by several milliseconds a year (don't Panic!!). Now all of a sudden the planet is spinning faster by a lot more so all those papers peer reviewed no less explaining the slow down will need to be withdrawn. Is there cause for concern about the faster rotation? What does the team think?

Gravity.........faster/slower.
Who really knows how fast the earth was spinning 500,000 ears ago?

Gravity.........faster/slower. Who really knows how fast the earth was spinning 500,000 years ago? John Kerry would know.

I may be self centered, but I'm having a lot of difficulty applying any of my diminishing concern reservoir to this metric.
