Remember this ... that there are still scientists at NASA that are willing to stand against "the paradigm". Perhaps they are merely reading the writing on the proverbial wall, and don't want to go down with "the irredeemable". Or, "honor" may be raising its head(s) to be counted. There must be some wish to burn "these heretics" at the stake. They do not mention temperature ... but they do not need to.

I don't know about the Pacific but after a flight down the Atlantic from North Atlantic to South Atlantic - 18 hours of over sea (in a canvas bucket seat with a pallet tied down as the only entertainment) you have a whole different understanding of how big the world is.

There is a hint of Hitchhikers Guide To The Universe in that post.

There is a hint of Hitchhikers Guide To The Universe in that post. “Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.” Indeed Douglas Adams creator of a set of books that started with "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and ended with "So Long and Thanks for all the Fish" - which as Douglas Adams put it was - " the fifth book in the four part trilogy" One of my favorite quotes: “The Guide says there is an art to flying", said Ford, "or rather a knack. The knack lies in learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.”

I've been watching the Starlinks satellites and the ISS recently with such lovely clear skies here in UK. When the ISS reappears again after about 90 mins it makes me think how small the world is. Different perspectives I guess.

Home Confinement, Movement and Gathering Direction (No. 6)It's just like having a big brother looking after you.

If separation is the Holy Grail, how the Hell did this get in there? enjoy recreational activities, as long as you remain within 150km of home and do not enter the Outback.

[ Snip ] I read the line about "First Nations" people and didn't realize the scam had spread to Australia. I am a skeptic of those who claim small (sometime very, very, very small) indigenous bands of primitive hunter-gathers are in reality Nations states. The 'first nations' stuff over here is a huge industry, a bottomless pit for taxpayer money. Out national broadcaster, the ABC could aptly be called the Aboriginal Broadcasting Corporation.

Us 1/16th aboriginals want to know where our share is. Do I have to raise a flag?
