Sig, This article is about you beta.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/09/03/trump-has-angered-wrong-people-farmers/MSNBC on Monday interviewed Bob Kuylen, vice president of the North Dakota Farmers Union, who explained that his wheat farm, which depends on overseas markets, has lost $400,000 because of the administration’s withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership and subsequent trade wars. Would appreciate your thought? Anyone thinking the TPP is/was a good idea should read this by E.M.Smith "So there you have the strategy. Obama was declaring victory since our Congress has been so stupid as to be manipulated into handing off their power to govern to faceless “International Commissions”. The TPP has to be killed or we get COP21 thrust down our throats.
(Along with loss of liberty to use communications and ‘fair use’, along with outside control of immegration, along with … well, a whole lot of bad crap.)
I would strongly urge Congress to get a firm grip on their one remaining testicle and realize they have handed the knife to permanently render them impotent over to the TPP and Obama.
It is fairly clear that ANY “international agreement” or “treaty” from this point forward is a “clear and present danger” to the USA. "chiefio.wordpress.com/2015/12/13/paris-cop21-obama-declares-victory-the-tpp-likely-gives-it-to-him/The trans Pacific Partnership and its evil twin the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (T-TIP) were going to sign away the USA independence as Treaties they would be superior even to the Constitution. This is the prize the globalists wanted and why they are so virulently anti-Trump and for that matter anti-BREXIT as UK being outside the EU meant it was no longer covered by the T-TIP. They so very nearly had the prize of supra-national control of the 'first world'.

Would appreciate your thought? 1. The feller is a minority in ND. 2. The Chinese tariff isn't affecting wheat prices. High ending stocks are. 3. It is obvious he is a poor marketer of his crops. There are marketing tools called options that could have easily reduced his stated loss.

Would have to be a lot deeper than 8' in ND. Then we would run into water issues. Glad he can make this work.
