MoBoy
So what if the rain in the mid-west and grain belts just carries on? The food surplus will be given a double whammy.

MoBoy So what if the rain in the mid-west and grain belts just carries on? The food surplus will be given a double whammy. Is the concept generally correct? How long does it take a cooling atmosphere to return to a new humidity equilibrium? Is flood followed by drought? Seems I remember that carryover inventories were estimated at about a 1-year supply? The end of this crop year may give a good indication of the effects of this year's weather. Markets too.

I took a crash course in German so I could understand. Do you know Herr Google, Naut? No I don't but he seems to know a lot about me... No. That's Herr Goebbels.

Tornado on the ground here in Tulsa. This is getting ridiculous. We still have parts of town that never got repaired from tornadoes two years ago. And heavy rain in the Arkansas River watershed, they will have to increase the volume out of the dam I'm sure.

Only minor storm damage. They sure made it sound dangerous. I'd say that the climate here has changed alright, it's been cooler and wetter, for years. Northern Tulsa County has had 22 inches over the last 30 days. And going back to last summer, the ground simply will not dry. Anecdotal evidence, that's what the climate hustlers like

Did someone show them how to play cricket? (an in joke that Ratty and Non will understand)

The Cherokees had Bartlesville, but they couldn't leave well enough alone. They thought that the land over east of Tulsa towards Arkansas looked greener and lusher, and more similar to their Carolina homelands, so they traded with the Osages. Then an ocean of oil was soon after found under Bartlesville and what was to be Osage County.

Hey Walnut - is this you? Not too far off, this is what I saw last Sunday. I was coming out of the deep part here. That car in front of me must have really wanted to go somewhere, the water was way past his doors. Damn cosmic rays

While perhaps cool for here, today's weather in Zagreb was great ... 60s-70s. A really clean upcoming city that puts some of Western Europe to shame. Friendly, seemingly industrious people. Of course I'm not Serbian. 😀. First impression ... I like the place.
