I’m currently on vacation in Summit County, Colorado where they experienced snow the first 3 days of summer. I’m not an expert in the climate at this elevation but apparently the weather in May and June has been very rare and is the talk of the town. I was speaking with the owner of a white water rafting company and the weather thus far has really hurt his business. He has to make all of his money from May through August and the cold snowy spring has really dampened his numbers. He was worried. I did not bring up “AGW” because it’s clear that 90%+ of the people in the area are subscribers to the theory and I’m on vacation. But you have to wonder if they are smart enough to read the signs right in front of them or are going to end up like the frogs in the pot of hot water. That's when they start lecturing that it is cool because of climate change, we are just not informed on climate science so we cannot understand anything that complex. Just trust what settled science says.

The Pacific Northwest will see some extreme weather and climate conditions between now and the mid-2020s Codewhacker - ranging from above normal temperatures, to excessive drought, then shifting to anomalous precipitation of torrential rain and heavy snowfall (even for the PNW) due to the climate of global cooling under the Sun's Grand Minimum.

Thanks for posting Astro 😊👍 Thanks. We are now in the first of three (3) phases of the climate and weather of global cooling as solar cycle #25 gets underway. Sure, you're welcome Acidohm. The rest of this year, and into the 2020s, the primary problem will be the excessive amount of precipitation of torrential rain causing flash floods in urban settings and floods in rural regions.

Interesting about all the rain as that has happened before... a quote that I have previously shown:

Unfortunately, the one site moderator has not appeared for somewhile and the space for 'uploads' is all full of old information with nobody to clear it out. Most of us use Dropbox links but google drive works too. Interesting that second link that there is the attempt to blame 'Franklin's conductor' for the weather. There has always got to be someone to blame, a standard human trait.

I was also drawn to a documentary posted on FB that had been shown on H2 channel in the UK. Interesting how the climate warmed up to 1400 then cooled from 1400 to 1850 before warming again. The various reports of how this affected battles around europe and america i found fascinating plus how scientists cannot agree as to what caused it. Some say the sun, some say volcanic activity and some say the atlantic conveyor system. Could they not see that maybe it is all linked? The sun caused the medieval warm period which melted the ice caps which weakened the Conveyor. The sun with less activity affected mantle and there were more eruptions plus less solar activity leading to a period of cooler summers and intense winters but the weather also became more wet - something that astromet has suggested for the next 10 years whilst the new era of cooling settles in. youtu.be/vZFXZ0bATyc

So much for Astromet's El Nino forecast for 2019-2020. Guess it wasn't much of a forecast. Sorry ol' chap, better luck next time.
If you want a real forecast, try David Dilley at Global Weater Oscillations. He has a great system for predicting weather, ENSO and earthquakes. He is also predicting global cooling.
Cheers!
