"Clyburn Suggests Capitol Rioters May Have Had Inside Intel.....
.....Clyburn said, “Well, I am saying that I have an unmarked office that you have got to know exactly where it is. It is where I spend the most of my time doing my work as the majority whip. I have a staff who work very hard who try to keep up with the members who try to make sure they do an effective job managing the votes once they get to the floor, and that office is where I do most of my work. For some reason, these people showed up at that office. But the office where my name is above the door or on the door and my position above the door was not disturbed. So I’m just saying, they didn’t go to where my name was. They went where I usually hang out. That to me indicates that something untoward may have been going on.”"www.breitbart.com/clips/2021/01/10/clyburn-suggests-capitol-rioters-may-have-had-inside-intelI think that they have the intel that they were after now. This was not a simple 'riot' and sack and pillage.

Looks like Parler may be gone. If anyone finds an alternative location, please post.

Looks like Parler may be gone. If anyone finds an alternative location, please post. Yes the Amazon cloud service was stopped (I hope they had a good solid contract term for removal of service) Not sure how easy it is to port to an alternate cloud service. Although they are in theory close to identical implementations of the same thing they are not. You can have everything in containers but find that the implementation of containers is subtly different. So going say to MS Azure even if Bill allowed them to, will take months not days. Everyone is going to GAB which effectively is now under a DDOS by tens of thousands of Twitter and Parler users moving to it.

Everyone is going to GAB which effectively is now under a DDOS by tens of thousands of Twitter and Parler users moving to it. Apologies for thread drift, but I'm extremely interested: What "alternate" social media/communications apps/websites are people using? i.e. NOT FB, Twitter, etc. I've heard of MeWe and now Gab; what is out there and what do you think of them? How 'hardened' are they against measures such as took down Parler?

From what I have heard Gab is set up so it is not dependent on another service so is not simple to take down and is a Twitter replacement. For point to point Telegram seems to be the preferred choice There is a need for a cooperative messaging and chat service where there is no central server and people just join over the raw internet. I think something like that is possible but the current web behemoths would try to stop it. Something to dig and look for.

My first thought upon waking up this morning was, I'm not sure that Trump is going to step aside. But like D-Day, this will not be announced to the people who are going to be arrested in advance. Then a period of some sort of martial law, and inconvenience (for the greater good). Anyway, going to begin accumulating essentials just in case. Not sure, not a prediction. Why is the left so frantic to frame the protests as a failed coup, and force Trump to step down immediately? The media blitz has been incredible.

I am treating it as the possibility of a hurricane in a few days. So get cash, fuel for generator, extra food and other issues like a non-techgiant comms system to contact family. Generally, we can go around 2 weeks from a standing start without prep.

"No, Donald Trump Did Not Incite An Insurrection Democrats and their media allies are milking a tragic riot for all it's worth. David MarcusBy David Marcus JANUARY 12, 2021
The Democrats and their media allies are trying to convince the American people that President Donald Trump is guilty of inciting an insurrection last week. In both legal terms and in terms of the plain meaning of the English language, their claim is absurd on its face. There are two fundamental reasons for this: Trump did not incite the riots at the Capitol, and the riots were not an insurrection."thefederalist.com/2021/01/12/no-donald-trump-did-not-incite-an-insurrection/

"Marine Corps. Rebukes Pelosi: “WE DON’T WORK FOR YOU!”
General David H. Berger, Commandant of the United States Marine Corps., refused House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s request to use the Corps. to safeguard Biden’s Jan. 20 inauguration from Trump supporters and insurrectionists.
A Pentagon source speaking under promise of anonymity told Real Raw News that Pelosicontacted Gen. Berger late Monday night, and she beseeched him to commit 5,000 troops to help ensure a peaceful transition of power and to prevent a repeat of the Jan 6 siege of the Capitol. Gen. Berger, our source said, didn’t understand why Pelosi needed additional soldiers to augment an already impressive force assembled by federal and state officials. That force includes 15,000 National Guard from D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and an undisclosed number of FBI and DHS agents who arrived in D.C. Sunday night.
Pelosi said she wanted “battle ready” reinforcements because “radicalized Trump supporters and kooky Qanon conspiracy people” were about to converge on D.C. She implored him to reconsider, arguing that it was the general’s patriotic duty to quell uprisings and guarantee Biden’s ascension to the Oval Office.
Her statement made the general explode, our source said."Read the explosion here: realrawnews.com/2021/01/marine-corps-rebukes-pelosi-we-dont-work-for-you/

A response on twitter; If you need soldiers to protect politicians, there is something wrong with politicians not the voters.

I hope that these soldiers put into place for "protection" are Trump's Trojan horse.
