It would appear that there are say ~5% susceptible people in most populations. These people WILL be infected with SARS-CoV-2 and will be suffering from COVID-19. 1% or less of the population - a fifth of those susceptible will require hospitalization and may die. Lockdowns do not stop people being infected. In NYC 60% of the infections reported were to people locked down. So all lockdowns do is delay the infection of that 5% susceptible. But lockdowns are very bad for the economy of the country and could result in total free fall as UK seems to be entering. So every country will have its susceptible members infected eventually. Sweden just went for it and had bad figures for a while but now is recovering with no real harm to its economy. UK meanwhile is still dragging its way through the epidemic despite lockdown and because of lockdown has a crashing economy. The USA with its federal system has some states like South Dakota that did a Sweden and others like California, New York and Michigan that locked down. New York is in a bad way. but California strangely is making money by taxing those who have made gains by investing in the recovering economy. The majority of US states are recovering as federal figures show. Blue states not so much - a political choice.

The lockdown can be excused at the start with the precautionary principle in mind. That was March and maybe April.
Additionally the predicted weakening that is occurring is also a dividend of delay. But we all need to look at the mortality of lockdowns against the mortality of lockdown induced poverty. The problem with politicians is that they are totally comfortable with killing the people they serve so long as it does not go on their personal score card and poverty will do its work over the next decade. Not on my watch!
Where I have a massive issue is the blindness to options like Vitamin D3. We know that its cheap we know that its impact could be smaller than hoped on Covid 19 but the wellbeing of the community will reduce the R0 as a consequence of the general health benefits and that means lower target numbers infected to get herd immunity. That is how a smart people save lives, let me leave the HCQ and zinc etc discussion as given that they virtually all are in the grip of TDS.

From that article I believe it is time for someone to create a class action lawsuit against Imperial College and Neil Ferguson. They put the incorrect values into an unverified unvalidated computer program created by an amateur and led to the economic misery for the entire world. Indeed it is worse than that every time Ferguson used his 'program' it was wildly incorrect: Foot and Mouth disease, swine flu all grossly exagerated pessimistic output. So everyone knew it would give the incorrect forecastAs the article states medical metrology is broken. They do not even seem to have a valid 'data definition' for most of their terms which they use almost interchangeably. Then people certifying (note the word certifying) causes of death put down whatever they fancy at the time, a different certifier could put down something completely different. So the garbage from the certifiers is put into the garbage model and surprise the output is wildly wrong. Lorentz could have told them that would happen with an iterative model with incorrect start parameters. Then of course everyone regardless of genotype and diet/lifestyle phenotype is treated by the medical statistics as if they were identical and this is not true either with the majority of people with strong innate immune systems effectively unaffected by SARS-CoV-2. It is a real pigs breakfast and along come the media pigs looking for click bait. So here we are.

I believe that if I spent the day knocking on doors all over the city, I would fail to find even one single current "pandemic" victim.

This is an interesting thread to follow if you want to know more about the issues with PCR based testing.

I know it suits Fauci/Obama et al to pretend that this was a virus from the wild. But unfortunately, they have left a paper trail - peer reviewed paper trail no less. A paper from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Read the abstract. The created SARS-CoV-2 in the lab. A chimeric SARS-CoV backbone with a spike protein to lock onto the ACE2 receptors in human airway cells. Then they checked that current vaccines and theraputics had poor efficacy at stopping the chimera SARS-COV-2. Happy with that they then synthetically derived a complete SARS-CoV-2 virus and demonstrated that it showed robust viral replication in vivo (using Humanized mice - that's mice mixed with baby tissue supplied by aborted fetuses from Planned Parenthood) This work was stopped by the DoD effectively saying WTF are you doing??? And all work on potential SARS pandemic viruses was halted.... in the USA. However, there were some that wanted the generation of pandemic SARS-CoV-2 to be continued.... "Obama's NIH Helped Bankroll Wuhan Lab Where Coronavirus May Have Originated. Trump's Stopping It
During a White House press briefing, a reporter claimed the Obama administration gave the virology lab in Wuhan $3.7 million in grant money in 2015. Various news reports, relying on the nonprofit White Coat Waste Project, also reported similar numbers. This is incorrect. The National Institutes of Health gave roughly $3.4 million to EcoHealth Alliance, a nonprofit research group, over the course of 6 years, including under the Trump administration. Of that $3.4 million, less than $600,000 was sent to the lab in Wuhan, EcoHealth Alliance spokesman Robert Kessler told PolitiFact."pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/tyler-o-neil/2020/04/17/obamas-nih-sent-3-7m-to-wuhan-lab-where-coronavirus-may-have-originated-trumps-stopping-it-n385141So Fauci's NIH gave the money and the build a pandemic corona virus research to Wuhan. Whatever for? This funding may have been nice for the Chinese to have but they already had all the knowledge and possibly the SARS-CoV-2 virus strain as if you look at the list of contributors to the first paper you will see Zhengli-Li Shi - Key Laboratory of Special Pathogens and Biosafety, Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China. She is now the director of Wuhan Virology Laboratory. So Wuhan has had the virus available to them and all the knowledge about it for 5 years (4 years before the 'accidental' release). Plenty of time for 'gain of function' passaging of the virus. "Was Sars-CoV-2 created in a lab?
In his statement, Petrovsky goes on to describe the kind of experiment that, in principle, if done in a lab, would obtain the same result as the hypothesised natural zoonotic transfer–rapid adaptation of a bat coronavirus to a human host.
“Take a bat coronavirus that is not infectious to humans, and force its selection by culturing it with cells that express human ACE2 receptor, such cells having been created many years ago to culture SARS coronaviruses and you can force the bat virus to adapt to infect human cells via mutations in its spike protein, which would have the effect of increasing the strength of its binding to human ACE2, and inevitably reducing the strength of its binding to bat ACE2.
Viruses in prolonged culture will also develop other random mutations that do not affect its function. The result of these experiments is a virus that is highly virulent in humans but is sufficiently different that it no longer resembles the original bat virus. Because the mutations are acquired randomly by selection there is no signature of a human gene jockey, but this is clearly a virus still created by human intervention.”
In other words, Petrovsky believes that current experimental methods could have led to an altered virus that escaped. "www.independentsciencenews.org/health/the-case-is-building-that-covid-19-had-a-lab-origin/I think that the evidence is overwhelming that SARS-CoV-2 was artificially produced. The virus was extremely infectious to humans but not backwards to other animals. Normally this is not the case. As with UNC Chapel Hill research a complete SARS-COV-2 prototype was built and tested against human cells. The only question remaining is was the release accidental and made use of, or was the release deliberate with intended worldwide impact.

Earlier, I mentioned my granddaughter who was doing an engineering summer internship with one of the major drug companies via the internet. The internship is over and she is starting her senior year and has just received a full-time job offer over the phone from the company. Again this is without ever having visited the company or talked to any employee face-to-face. She is not the only one who has received a full-time offer. That’s the COVID/technology -driven new world.
My granddaughter says there are already 833 reported COVID cases at her university of 20,000 students with fall classes just starting. None of the students have required hospitalization so far.
