True. I was once a teenager. I got better. Fell off the grid, did you? Only when the power goes out. And I have a generator for that now. :-)

True. I was once a teenager. I got better. Fell off the grid, did you? I did that once and my bills went down ... but so did my comfort index. Several million Indians and Central Americans had no sympathy.

Any thoughts on India & Coronavirus Herd Immunity (CHI)?

A comment from another place: Any thoughts on India & Coronavirus Herd Immunity (CHI)? I am not sure that "the world has seen what is happening in India". The world is being shown the narrative that "big tech" wants them to see. To the extent of using photography of other Indian disasters so there are enough dead bodies to shock which can be easy with the rather effete western world with its completely different approach to death. Remember Hindus think that death is a transitory state between existences. Or as a Friend of mine said: "Life is a b1tch and then you die - unless you are a Hindu in which case Life is a b1tch - Life is a b1tch - Life is a b1tch - Life is a b1tch......"

India has done remarkably well up till now, Germany is still losing 300/day 80M people India 3000/day 1400M people. Germany by the narrative is coming right.
Ivermectin is the target if India can keep its deaths/M below 300 and they are halfway there then their death rate will be a seventh of the UK.
My favourite line these days when people say "but we know their numbers are much higher". just answer back "are you saying black people can't count".
Stops things dead.

That's just reverse racism 😉 If you view those populating India as simply people and just look at the situation, there are numerous accounts of ill people unable to find a place in hospital. My understanding is they therefore don't get tested, and this is in cities. Rural areas are pretty much on their own. Problem with any data is tests done and positivity rates are fairly definitive and you can make graphs etc. How do you count those who don't enter this data stream, you can't. Would I suggest a nation of over a billion people with low gdp, vast rural communities and a massive sudden spike in recorded covid cases would be unable to count all the cases? Yes.

A comment from another place: Any thoughts on India & Coronavirus Herd Immunity (CHI)? What India shows, and Sweden....is you can't take a current situation and map it out to the future as proof. Covid surges can occur and suprise a population. Likely because of variants. Just because a wave has occurred and receeded is not evidence something won't happen in the future.

AstraZenica and Johnson&Johnson have declared no profit from vaccines until pandemic declared over. It's actually in their interest to not promote covid deaths...... I received AZ dose yesterday evening, feel a bit rough but no 2nd head as yet..

I am giving blood on the 1st of June. I always donate if the stars line up.
The donation on the 1st will serve 2 purposes. Hopefully, I will enhance someone's life. 2nd, my blood will be tested for Covid19 titers.
I have had so many known exposures, I either had it, or my immune system took care of it prior to full blown infection.
