And like all Conga lines they are recursive..... Or it could just be a useless model Note that the displayed turn from a NE track to a SW track gives a coast crossing that is close to my overhead

That's too close for comfort, Mr. Naut. Yes the ensemble is split with one set for you and the other set for me with a set of outliers to the Gulf of Campeche. So the NHC has chosen a middle path over Pensacola - in reality I don't think they know

To correct the thread drift.... Eta passed over Florida yesterday as a bit of a non-event crossing from Cedar Key in the West to Jacksonville on the East with the 'NE quadrant' passing overhead here. Blustery winds with gusts around 30-40Kts bands of heavy rain but nothing unusual for Florida - it is now on its way to Europe
