The Martians watched the long distance recording of the first Biden Press Conference. Their overall conclusion was that from the point of view of the "Western Democratic" world, it would be sad and worrying.
The questions seemed to be preselected with particular reporters, with prepared scripted answers. Even that did not seem to work that well.
Hard questions simply were not asked.
Since in 2020 the Press Corp was targetting ex-President Trump on little matters like keeping minors in cages on the border, they were surprised that the Press Corp does not even seem to have objected to the "gag" order on all border Federal Agencies. Especially as the number of minors in such cages seems to have increased rather dramatically recently.
The Martians were also rather confused about the "seize and release" concept. They are not sure that they have fully understood the nuances of the English language.

I have posted about this before, and maybe I'm the only one around here noticing, but the US postal service is in a state of collapse. Stuff in "pre-shipment" and never scanned in for a month. Spoke to post office lady, she says I'm not the only one. Massive, massive problems.
Some warehouses are seriously backed up, and if your package passes the event horizon at one of those locations, it might never be seen again.
